My mother-in-law has moved into Meadow Ridge Senior Living. Everything's good so far. The location was really good for us. They accepted elderly waivers upon move-in and they had elderly waiver openings immediately. Her room is very nice. The staff that we worked with were very helpful, and they just made the process pretty seamless for us. She's in memory care. They have exercises and crafts. They also do occasional outings or field trips. The portion sizes of the food are plentiful. They won't go hungry there and they serve a variety of food for each meal. A salad and soup is included with each lunch and dinner.

I went to Meadow Ridge Senior Living. It was professional. It was thorough and good. I think what I saw was a large studio. They showed me what they had there and some people were eating. It seemed like a sufficient building.

My MIL was here for 3.5 years and all we saw were broken promises that it would improve. She was severely neglected in the memory care area, the rooms were not cleaned well or anything when cleaned, I found my fall risk MIl mopped in to a corner. We found her repeatedly in clothes that were worn for days and filthy. I showered her many times because it was evident she was not clean. She was left in her room all the time, bringing her food to her room. We asked a number of times for her to go to the dining room. There was rotten food everywhere. She was extremely lonely and depressed because she never saw other people. She ended up being hospitalized for dehydration for 5 days. We immediately moved her to a new place. Having been there for 3.5 weeks we are seeing a night and day difference. She is not depressed, she is talkative, has friends and is moving around more. Please do not trust meadow ridge with your family members.

This facility disappointed me in so many ways. The staff, with few exceptions, is overall lazy. I had one evening lead health aide from their memory care tell me that my mother was a bother. This lady would call me to tell me my mother needed cleaning. Under her care I came on several times to my mother soaked in urine or covered in bowel movement on her bed yelling for help. This lady put the blame on the previous shift. I would go in almost every night to put my mother to bed because thus same woman would complain that they were too short staffed and she didn’t want to do it. I had to go in every Monday and Friday to ensure my mother got a shower. They went weeks without showering her. So I had to go help and make sure it was done. I went in to visit my mother on more than one occasion and found that a fellow resident had transferred her to her bed or chair. There was another resident that had just a few weeks ago, I saw her through the window as I came up to the building, on the floor. I got in the building and heard her yelling for help. I went to their less than competent lead evening aide and her partner, told them, to which they stared at me and asked several times of I was sure. Of course I was. Forget about letting management know, I texted the director as soon as that happened. Never got a response. This same woman was found on the floor again in a bathroom and a fellow resident tried to get her up. Finally one of the other aides from the assisted living side came to help. I have witnessed other residents soaked with urine pants, their lead aide has broken hippa laws because she told me everyone’s business and ailments. She constantly told me what was wrong with each resident and all about why they were in the hospital. She also told me about medication errors that were made by other staff. Often scaring me and telling me that someone could have gotten really hurt. She also told me about night shift staff that would leave or sit out in their cars smoking a joint in the middle of the night while their floor was unattended. She also blocked an elderly woman’s door with boxes because she had Covid. If there would have been an emergency this woman may have been in trouble. So much I could tell. Yes I do have pictures. If you’re wondering why I didn’t tell the director about this woman, I did. I was told that healthcare is short staffed and they couldn’t afford to lose anyone. Thankfully my mother is not there anymore. If you need memory care, and your considering this place, run.

We looked at Meadow Ridge Senior Living. I was really pleased with it. It was smaller. I think the staff was very attentive, showed us everything, and answered all our questions. I was impressed with the facility itself. It's very clean and warm. We were able to look at a couple of different rooms and would have been able to pick the one that would have fitted my mother the best. She doesn't walk well, and they showed us one that was closer to the elevators so she could get around a lot easier. I think that they took that effort to fit something for her, and I thought that was really nice. It's a little bit more compact, but they do have some outdoor areas, some patios, and some veranda-type things where people can congregate and do some gardening if they want, and I thought that was pretty nice.

I moved into Meadow Ridge Senior Living. Everything about them is excellent, the food is excellent, and the service is excellent. The staff is excellent, they're all friendly, and they're all very helpful; it's a comfortable place to be. There's volleyball, there are groups that come in and sing for us, we had a guest from a petting zoo come in with her animals, we went on field trips to the Raptor Center, and we went to Target and the Dollar Store.

The person who showed me around Meadow Ridge Senior Living was very knowledgeable and nice, answered all my questions, and gave me the information I was looking for. The facility was nice, but the rooms were small, and the halls were very long, which was why I would not have placed my mother there, because she has trouble getting around.

My tour at Meadow Ridge Senior Living was good. They have nice apartments with private bathrooms, although they didnt have that many open areas. I saw the dining room, the living room, and they also have a tiny little courtyard. However, there weren't a lot of common area spaces. The staff member I met I was impressed with. They have an activities calendar, but I didn't see any activities going on during my visit.

Meadow Ridge Senior Living was a very small community and sort of hidden away. We didn't see any of the residents during the day on a Friday, so that was a negative for me. There were a couple of things that needed to be fixed up, and so while the director was bringing us around he was saying, "We need to fix that," or "we caught that." One very nice lady came in and said hi and seemed very happy. The dining room and socializing area was very dimly lit, I didn't like that because it was sort of depressing. The environment was more passive, and it seemed that the rooms were smaller than the other places. I also didnt really see any staff there. It seemed to me more like a senior living apartment, not assisted living.

My father was there for a short time. The facility was impressive! We weren't impressed with the level of personal care. They always seemed to be short of staff. When you are paying a pretty penny you expect adequate staffing for your loved ones.

My grandfather lives at meadow ridge and I can finally say he has found himself a great home. We had switched from 2 other assisted livings because they were not to his liking. He is very particular about his living environment. I've been to the facility 5 times and each time I go there I get welcomed by the staff. I've been invited to eat dinner there from the Chef himself, and I was kind of surprised because that sort of thing has never happened to me before. I was lucky because the food was really good. Definitely am going to ask grandpa if I can come and meet him for dinner again sometime.

My mom stayed at Meadow Ridge for a short while. It was a new place, but they did not have enough staff nor staff who were trained enough to work with memory care people. That was another big concern for me. We had some issues with her diet as they were giving her the same kind of creamy food that she could not eat and did not accommodate her diet. The other thing is that we found bugs in her refrigerator and room. We asked that to be taken cared of, but that wasn't done. The staff was not as kind to her as we wanted them to be. They asked us for another chance, but we moved her out of the place.

The building is like a 5-star hotel. Spacious, new, clean, outside patio, etc. I really enjoyed visiting my father there and love that I found him a great place to live.

Awesome new building! Totally fresh and it is brand new. I loved the afternoon cookies they had freshly baked for their residents.

My mom stayed in Country Villa for about two weeks. She had knee surgery and she was in for a rehab after each one. It was very, very close to her daughter's home and also it had a good reputation, so she was very pleased with it. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating and followed the doctors' orders. I felt she was treated very well. She seem just very pleased with everything and the rehab went without a hitch. It was very clean. She felt that the nurse had pushed her beyond her limit and had caused some damage to the knee, caused her a lot of pain and had problems since. Whether that was found medically, I don't know. So perhaps we should rate it then not top.
