I moved into Vernon Terrace of Edina. It's very good. I was able to find a place down on the first floor, so it walks right out onto the grass with a small patio. And so it's perfect because they allow dogs, and I have a dog. Very clean. I have somebody come in once a week to do cleaning and another once a week to do laundry for me. So you have that available, and then even though I'm independent, I just find that to be a nice break for a while because I'm not up to what I used to be. I was in the hospital for a long time before I came here, so it's just helpful to be able to have that. The food is good and they will deliver it to your room. The only problem I have with that is that they charge too much for that. They want $8 to deliver one meal to your room. And that's too much. But you can go down and pick up your lunch or you can go eat in the dining room. So there's flexibility here for things that you can choose from. You can do your own laundry. There's laundry not in your room, but it's close, it's just within a couple of doorways away from me to do laundry. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. They bus people at least three times a week, they go to actual places, like the Arboretum. They plan tours and bus trips and they're open to everybody. And then they have one day a week where they take everybody to Target. So they take them to stores and buses for people that want to go and they help them out with their stuff. They have carts out in front where you can put all your stuff in a cart and bring it back to your room, making it easy for people to shop. They bring professional people in from the outside one or two times a week. This was within my budget, and I was told they were one of the less expensive ones.

We're moving into Vernon Terrace of Edina. It's in a neighborhood where our kids grew up. Our rent is gonna be $682 a month less, and we are going from a one-bedroom, one-bath to a two-bedroom, two-bath with a den and a balcony among other things. The staff is very nice, very friendly, very professional. The room is lovely, very nice, everything is very well done, very clean, and neat. They have a big exercise room; of course nothing's open now because of the virus. They have a bus that takes you to appointments.

I'm on the waiting list at Vernon Terrace of Edina. I'm listed at the independent level and they have memory care as well. I have friends living there. I liked that it's older and they had rectangular, good sized rooms. I can afford it and the location was very convenient for me. It's not far from my daughter nor from my church. They had an activity bus. I've had a meal there and it was okay. They give good options in that you can order ahead and pick up your meal and eat it in your own apartment. They had a weight room that had exercise bikes, and they had a library and a beauty parlor. The larger apartments come with a washer and dryer. Otherwise, there's a fairly large laundry area, and it looked clean and it had quite a number of washers and dryers.

We moved to Vernon Terrace of Edina. We like it very much. There are all kinds of activities and they serve three meals a day. It's very comfortable and the people are very nice. The staff is very helpful and couldn't be nicer. There's a van and you can have additional services if you want.

The Willows At Vernon Terrace of Edina was very nice, open, and friendly. It's so handy to everything and very well-located. They have a lot of activities. They don't have a pool, but they have exercise rooms, card-playing rooms, a library, a salon, a bus that takes them wherever they need to go and on trips. There's a lot of good qualities, and the staff is good and very nice. They didn't return calls very quickly, but they responded very well otherwise. They've got caregivers on staff, and they're very good in getting them to their appointments if their family isn't available.

We chose Vernon Terrace Senior Living Community for my aunt because of the location and cost; it is less expensive. The room was nice. Everything was clean and in good condition. Their food is variable; sometimes it is good; sometimes it is kind of mediocre. For the price -- and comparing it to the cost of other facilities, especially the condition of the facility -- nothing looks rundown.

We visited Vernon Terrace. It's an older building about 25 years old. We liked the location a lot, in fact we are moving this July. Most of the staff is okay. They have all kinds of activities like entertainment. They have a shuttle bus that takes you to places.
