I like that Tradition can transition my mother-in-law from independent living to assisted living with a lot of services that we were afraid we're going to cause her to have to move. She has been very happy in their independent living. It's very pretty. It's a beautiful facility. They have staff that are very good and very helpful. It's well decorated and well maintained. The rooms are very nice. They are independent living apartments, so they're very nice and roomy. She's in a 1-bedroom, but they have 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom ones as well. The atmosphere is very friendly too The food is okay. I have tried it. They also make an effort to do lots of special food for holidays. The dining area looks like a nice restaurant environment, with tables and chairs, and nice decor. They actually have wait staff too. Before 2020, they did a lot of movie nights, bingo, cards, and puzzles. There's a game room and a craft room that's encouraged for people to come out and visit. They also have a coffee bar.

I've chosen Tradition Independent & Assisted Living in Brooklyn Park. Their price is OK. They have a lot of amenities. They have openings, and it seems a very nice place. The staff members are very quality people. We spent a couple hours there. They had a nice eating area, but right now they're delivering meals to the rooms for free because of COVID. They provide ten meals a month for everybody, and I get another ten meals a month for the first year. They have a game room, and they have a very nice entryway. The front desk seems to be staffed most of the time during the day; I'm not sure about night. I'm only gonna have to stay in my room for seven days to move into the community. They have underground parking for $50. They have good outside parking. I have a single bedroom with a den, with no carpet except in the bedroom, which is very nice, with a very large kitchen that's easy to get into. I haven't had any food there.

I visited Tradition Independent & Assisted Living. It's a good place, nice big room. It was nice, clean, and they were really conscious about the COVID. They were great, friendly. I haven't tried the food, but I heard good. The facility was in good shape. There ain't to many activities right now because of COVID, but that's OK. I know what kind of activities they have when they do it. They have a salon. I think they have a chapel, a cafeteria, and barbershop. I suppose there's a woman there who cuts hair. I don't know, I'm bald anyway.

At Tradition Independent & Assisted Living, you can go into an independent apartment and you can just get assisted living as you need it in the same apartment. My experience was very good. The staff was very good and the rooms were very nice. My parents said the food was very good. They have a full calendar of activities. They have exercise classes and all kinds of different groups, and they have a beauty shop. We like the place.

I felt there was a real community atmosphere at Tradition. The staff member I met with seemed to be very enthusiastic about the place and her job. It seemed to carry over to the residents, and the social atmosphere seemed excellent. They have meal options and they can choose the number of meals to be included for the month, or you can pick and choose if you want to add to it.

We found Tradition for my parents and visited it a couple of times. They are on a waiting list to move in the middle of June. It was very nice, and the building was not enormous; my father didn't want to walk too far to get around. They asked for a corner apartment with two bedrooms, and that's exactly what they got. Everybody was very nice, and they had really nice activities. My mother likes crossword puzzles, and they get together in the game room to do crosswords a few times during the week. It's pet-friendly for small pets, and my parents liked that. They liked the dining options, which is like restaurant dining. They are going to start in independent living.

I liked the Tradition. My parents are on the waiting list. The staff member who assisted us was very nice and very accommodating. She had lunch with us and answered all of our questions. They had exercise class, puzzles, and card games. They also had a hair salon. The dining area was nice, and the food was very good.

My mother is 95 and is at the highest level of care that is provided at Tradition. I cannot adequately describe the wonderful care that she is given by a very caring nursing staff. In addition to the administration of her medications, they see that mother gets to meals on time, take her to exercise class and for walks in the hallways to keep up her strength. Her apartment is cleaned and laundry done for her every week. They assist her with dressing in the morning and getting ready for bed each evening. Dinners can either eat the meal prepared or order from the menu at both lunch and dinner. The food is excellent and the dinning experience elegant (cloth table cloths and napkins). This is a very friendly place and neither my mother or I have found one thing to complain about in the two years mom has lived there. Mom gets excellent care; I get peace of mind!

I was looking for a place with included activities and meals. In the apartment itself, I really wanted things like a shower and washer and dryer included, and it’s all in Tradition. The rooms were spacious. They have an exercise room and get togethers almost every day.

We toured 2 or 3 different apartment layouts in the independent living of Tradition, and we were not impressed. They have very large kitchens and lots of cabinet space, but no place to put a table. The rooms were cut up with windows, doors, and hallways. The lady that took us on the tour was absolutely wonderful and was very good about showing us and discussing things. The apartments were very clean.

Tradition was a little bit up-to-date, nice, and clean. The person there was very nice and informative. I had no complaints. The dining area was very nice, had nice linens on the table, and looked good.

Everything was excellent at Tradition; I could live there. I thought it was wonderful, and my whole family loved it. It felt coordinated, had a happy atmosphere, and was clean. Every resident I talked to was very happy to be there. You could feel that it had a great energy.

Tradition was nice, I liked it, but I didn’t like the layout of the apartments. The rooms had a washer and dryer, were in good condition, and had plenty of space. The staff was very nice and very helpful. It sounded like a nice place to live and had a restaurant with a nice selection of food.

Our tour guide was very personable! She spent quality time with us and answered all our questions. We loved the fact that she really "knew" the residents and we could clearly see that her heart was in her work. We also loved the fact that we saw three different pets in our short visit! For dog lovers, that was a treat!

At Tradition, the staff was really nice and welcoming. However, I noticed right away when I came in that the facility wasn’t well taken care of, and the smell was atrocious. There were a lot of people in the common room, and the atmosphere was friendly, but I wouldn’t put anybody I care for there. Even though it’s brand-new, it’s already looking rundown. They need to clean the facility.

My mother is at Tradition and loves it. She is doing well, has settled in, and is really excited to be there. Her apartment is beautiful. The staff is lovely and invites her to play Scrabble and see movies. With regard to their food, she has already gained two pounds.

We moved our parents into this facility almost 3 years ago. Everything seemed to be great. Close to us to oversee them. However over this time drastic turnover has been seen. Digging deeper, accounts for nursing care being double paid, changing their rates without any changes to their care. Changing their ACH withdrawl without our approval....Astronomical fees un-itemized invoicing???? ...being directed in circles...never getting straight answers...unresponsive in phone calls shall I go on. Frustration is at its peak! If anyone reading this has family living here, please dig into their expenses and I can guarantee they are being overcharged. Rating AWFUL. It is not care it is greed!

This was our first and only stop in looking for senior living with assistance for my parents. Its beautiful the bathrooms are huge! They let you customize your apartment and chef on staff. Bummer part was the renovations going on and the sheer size but my folks love it! Excited for them and the next phase of their life!

We love Tradition. We really like it. Actually that was the one we were going to pick because three of my siblings live within three miles of that one. The facility was extremely clean and very well kept. We love it. It was also very welcoming. We went there three different times and each time the residents looked so happy. They were doing crafts, etc. They were all just busy doing something and were saying "hi" and welcoming my mother, and yet they didn't even know her. Everybody seemed friendly and happy and, to me, that's a really big deal. Each floor had a different color for their guests. With regards to physical structure, The Tradition was the one that was built more as an apartment building so it was big. It did have a total apartment setting where you have your own washer/dryer. However, the facility per se was a little too much for my mother. I mean it was too big. We felt she would be lost in it.

Tradition Independent and Assisted Living is physically attractive which is very important. The rooms are set out more nicely. They also have balconies. My mother was really drawn into that. The food was very delicious and there were generous portions. The people serving were considerate. They often have exchange students so you are often being served by somebody from another culture who's learning English. To me that's attractive because I'm very culturally diverse-oriented.
