I'm in Windemere Park Health & Rehab Center. I started off in rehab and then switched over to skilled nursing because I have been here for over a year. The staff is excellent. The food can use improvement. The seasoning on the food is lacking. They can use more salt and more pepper, but I'm a picky eater. Right now, I'm not in my room because they're in there fixing the ceiling. They have bingo and stuff like that. They bring me goodies, treats and candies whenever there's a party. Somebody brings me a plate, ice cream or cake. They're really nice here. Pretty much I get what I pay for.

I'm in Windemere Park Health & Rehab Center. The food is very good. All the staff members are very mannerly, and they answer the call lights in a very good manner. Their attitude is wonderful. The doctors are very honest. If you have something going on, they don't wait. The bedside manners are awesome. The activities director, Ingrid, is phenomenal. She keeps us all going and keeps our spirit high. We love what she shows us. Any kind of game, she's very good about it. She just makes it fun for us and we need that. When the food is bad, they change it. They're wonderful about it because they get to know what you like and what you don't like. They don't give you a hard time about that. They want to make you happy. Housekeeping is wonderful. As for getting things done, I think they're working on trying to get a good maintenance man because the building is old. There are certain things that are needing help, but I don't think they've come to a good conclusion of who to hire. I've been to another facility before this. That's why when I first got here, I was very happy because I couldn't help comparing it to the other facility. When everything is nice and they're helpful, that's good for your health. It makes you feel better and get better. Value for money is very good. I'm very pleased with this place.

My mother is at Windemere Park Health & Rehab Center. We really liked it. They treat us real good. They've taken really good care of my mom. I can't say anything more than they've been really great. The nurses are really good. Everything is good. The staff is very polite and very helpful. The food is very good. My mom's gaining weight on them, so she must have been liking them. It's very clean. We've had no problem with maintenance. They have lots of activities. They play bingo two or three times a week. They play Hangman. She always got something to do. I'm happy with it and I'm sure she is because she likes it here.

Windemere Park Health & Rehab Center is clean. The people are nice. I've been in five facilities and this is the best one I've ever been in. Everybody is different, but for the most part, they have good attitudes and good work ethics and they will help you when you need them. They don't avoid you like some other places I've been in. Food, there's always room for improvement, but it's not bad. You don't starve. The building is very well maintained and it's very beautiful. We have a lady that does the activities, and she's excellent. We had bingo, luau, barbecues, picnics and all kinds of different things depending on the season. Value for money is very good because a lot of other places cost a lot more than this place costs.

I'm in Windemere Park Health & Rehab Center. They're treating me very well. The staff is lovely. Their work attitude is fantastic. The food is OK. Housekeeping is very good. Maintenance is OK. We have a wonderful lady and she treats everybody nice. We have bingo, painting and all kinds of stuff. Value for money is OK. The service is very good and so the money is well spent. I've been in about five or six facilities, and this one is the best.

I went to Windemere Park Health & Rehab Center. I like it. It was very clean. They only allow two patients per room. The rooms were very nice. There were multiple wings to the facility, but in each hall, they had isolation rooms. If a patient had something that was contagious, those rooms is where they put the patient in, and I liked that about that place. It was actually my third choice, and the only reason that I decided not to use them is that the cost was comparable to what we were paying for my ex-husband's stay at the other community. Other than that, I like it. They gave me a tour of the building. It was very nice. The facilities are very nice. I didn't try the food, but the dining area is simply gorgeous. It was set up like a restaurant setting. The rooms were more like hotel rooms than hospital rooms. They had hospital beds and stuff, but they were as big as a hotel room. If you would get a queen-size double hotel room, that's how big they are. They have the ensuite bathrooms with the roll-in showers that are very nice. The facility also has a swimming pool. It's very elegant. It's more like a hotel stay than a nursing home. The patients that can dress themselves wear their regular clothes. They come down, and they sit in the lobby. They have a lot of activities for their seniors there, too. They have a bingo night and a movie night. It's nice. I was on time and the staff who gave the tour was late. They weren't prepared for my visit even though it was a scheduled visit. I think they were short staffed. Then they didn't have like all the brochures, and I had to ask for them. The staff did mail me brochures after my visit, and she gave me the little information that they did have.

My mother moved into the Windemere Park Warren. She stayed there before she passed away. They were very helpful, and the place was really nice and wonderful. She came from the hospital and she was in the rehab portion. They did have a Medicaid bed, and she was Medicaid pending at that time. She wasn't even out of quarantine yet. The people were wonderful, and the care seemed good for the time she was there. The surroundings were very nice, clean, and they had very professional people.

I came to Windemere Park for rehab from a broken hip. I didn't know what to anticipate being that I was in pain and not happy about my situation. However, my 4 weeks as a resident there was amazing. The aids and nurses were so attentive and kind. The food was like a nice restaurants for every meal. My physical therapy, although tough, worked! The activities team made the time pass quickly. Windemere made my situation so much better than I could have hoped for. I am on my way to a full recovery. I just wanted to share how a bad situation was completely turned around and awesome.

I would not recommend this place for my dog Lola. The majority of the staff lacks empathy and patience. Nurses allowing staff to close residents doors that are disabled, to keep them from calling. My mother's call light was put a distance away from her. Mind you, she was only there for Rehabilitation but now she requires more help than she needed. They left my mother in soiled linen for two days! She has never had bedsores, and now she has two. I had my mother discharged from there and she was suppose to come home but wasn't response and had to be rushed to the hospital. Get this! After my Aunt called and told us that my mother was being rushed to ER, I didn't believe it because no-one from the facility had called to give my a status. I'm not sure how the seniors are treated in the assist living part of this building, however, if its anything like how my mother was treated. Lord help us! Michelle (DON) and Tina (Admissions Coordinator) deceived me. I trusted them to care and keep my mother safe and they failed to do that; and as a result my mother is sick with Sepsis Pneumonia. Her mental state is shocked from the treatment. She was traumatized and treated like an animal. I would wish this on my worst enemy. PLEASE DON'T TAKE YOUR LOVE ONE HERE!!!

My dad has been in the rehab facility for 3 wks. I went and visited him last week and requested for him to be shaved and a shower. I went back today . He has not been shaved and he had the same clothes he had on last week. I am livid . My dad has aged 20 yrs since he’s been there. Do not put your parent in this facility. I wouldn’t put my dog or worst enemy there..I’ve talked to two people and asked who should I speak to about this. I got no answers.

What a wonderful place, very clean, staff are very compassionate and readily available for assistance. The therapy staff are so pleasant and patient with the residents. What we thought would take 3months to regain strength for our loved one; only took 5 weeks. The interaction during activity programs and socialization of other residents also helped in the healing process. I highly recommend this facility. Another family member is moving into their Assisted Living community. My kids enjoy the pool when visiting and the residents love the water aerobics they offer.

My mother was in the skilled nursing area of Windemere Park. The help are slow to answer call lights and my mother was left in bed most of the time. I found the staff to be chatting more about the events of their social life and not serving the patients. I got my mother out of there as fast as I could because I feared for her safety.
