I rented a bed just to get my husband out of St Anthonys. This place is horrible! Patients walking the halls and coming into the rooms! Rooms are not at all clean. Push the button for the nurses and they come in and turn it off, saying I'll be right back. (never come back). People sitting in chairs screaming for their father and mother all day. If you have a question, you're told to go to this person and they send you back to the person you just saw. I'm sorry, This just isn't right!

This place is unsafe and neglectful. Too bad Adult Protective Services rarely intervenes. Leaving a patient to sit in their urine all weekend without taking them up to go to the bathroom. Also failing to take patient to the hospital following a potentially lethal injury? This place shouldn’t have a license to practice.

The idea of private rooms for rehab was very attractive. Unfortunately, the staff ignored her regularly. Moving my sister here was a HUGE MISTAKE!! She needed help when she arrived to go to bathroom. On several occasions she waited for a response for help for 1 1/2 hours. She is diabetic & they continually gave her sugar & foods she should not have had. Started giving her insulin as a result. She had a leak from an adjacent room next to her bed for days before they fixed it. All they did was put towels on the floor which turned brown (SEWAGE?)! If you expect quality health care DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s worst place ever seen ….My mother stayed in rehab centre for more than one week……it’s horrible place …..no service…no care at all ….no responding…..no respect…dirty place …. The management staff in that facility is terrible staff….specifically the manager in that place she is extremely rude and she has very very bad attitude…I will tell everyone I know …families ,friends, relatives ,to not take there family members to this facility at all…there are so many terrible details about my experience in this facility I would tell …but in another time…so hopefully the Ciena healthcare will consider about this facility…specially about the badness manager

This place has patients in rooms that look like jail cells. Impersonal and cold. 4 White walls and a dresser. I would never put someone here. No one is ever around for patients. It’s awful! I begged my family member to let me get them out. Once I did they were so much better. Don’t be fooled by the few rooms that may look nice and warm!

This is a very clean facility. The rehab rooms are updated ans have their own personal shower in the room. Therapy was good. Our Doctor was absolutely wonderful. He saw my mom and spent time with her and explained and answered any of her questions. No one likes to be away from home, but this facility was good. I highly recommend it

I would rethink your choice in nursing homes. This is the worst facility I have ever been to. The end of life care for a patient was horrible. I would never leave someone I love in the hands of these people. They are rude, uncaring, no sense Of urgency with any of the nurses or caregivers. There was Maybe two people who seemed to care about their job and patients. I will tell everyone I know to never even consider this place for nursing care.

This facility is so very clean. My grandfather was here 10 years ago and its so much better now. They have a brand new rehab with private rooms. The food is about 3.5 stars, but otherwise its good!

Very, very Bad experience! In the 10 days that my Dad was in there He was left unattended all the time! People were sat in front of the TV as a babysitter. Not one nurse or attendant any where in site. I live 2 minutes form the place my Husband and I would pop in all the time. Dad would ask for help to go to the bathroom and by the time or if anybody would show up it was too late. Many, many more things wrong too! DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN HERE!!!

My mother was put in here after she got out of the hospital, and they never gave her the medications she needed, the staff was rude and rough, including pulling her out of the wheelchair hard, and basically ripping hair out when they brushed her hair. Her window also got blown in and had to be duct taped shut, to the extent anyone outside could have easily have gained access into the room. They then gave her a morphine pill (Refusing to tell us the dosage) which then put her into a coma, and so we decided to get an ambulance to get her and take her to beaumont hospital, and one of the nurses was very rude about it, including yelling at my mother to sign a release form even though she was in no state nor condition to do anything along those lines. They skipped her shower they were supposed to give her as well, they left her outside for an hour by herself at another point, and would also take about 30 minutes- 1 hour to respond to her pressing the nurse button to where it was almost too late for her to get to the bathroom. So, all in all this place is horrible, and if I could rate it 0 stars, I would. NEVER let your friends or loved ones go here, as it's awful care and they will only get worse.

What St Anthony's is not is a NURSING Care center. From what I could find about this 102 bed facility there are 3.5 full time nursing staff with administrative duties. My grandmother lived in this facility for the last 4 months of her life and died there with the most inadequate care. Staff are poorly trained, especially in end of life care and pain management. When problems arise, and they will in any facility, you want to know that your concerns will be heard and addressed in an appropriate and professional way. They will not be handled that way here. Don't expect to be able to get in touch with the Md on staff or to get help by the social work department. Choose a different facility for your loved ones and educate yourself on how to work the chain of command, how to file a complaint with the Local Long term ombudsman that covers the facility. This facility is owned by a for profit corporation that inadequately trains it's staff and your loved one will pay the price for that.

My mom was in St. Anthony for a couple of weeks before she went to the hospital. They had nice and large rooms. The staff seemed nice, when you could find them. However, being nice next to doing the job was a different story. I understand why my sister took Mom out of there and transfered her to another facility because mom didn't get the attention that she needed. She was getting dehydrated. She needed lots of water because of her kidney. I was also with St. Anthony a couple of years ago after a knee replacement. My problem when I was there at the time was that they would either not put you to the bathroom, or put you to the bathroom and forget to come back and get you out, even though you were ringing the bell. I sat in there for an hour one time, and I ended up getting myself up and back to bed. I called my husband and told him to come take me home because I said: "If I can get to the bathroom by myself, I can do that at home," and the main reason I was there was to have assistance. That still seemed to be the case, although they said they had improved their conditions. The thing that they don't realize, I guess, is that when you are older and you have to go to the bathroom, you have to go to the bathroom right now. I just thought that either they don't have enough help or the people were not doing their jobs. There was never anybody around. When I went to the hallway to look for somebody to help Mom's roommate, when you call them down the hall, occasionally somebody will come out from one of their break rooms or wherever they are.
