St. Anne's Mead is an older structure, but the staff has been there a very long time. Their rehab seems very complete and nicely targeted. The cost for the plan is median. My mother's enjoying it very much. The staff has been very friendly. She's also enjoyed the kitchen. They have a couple of rooms, but she's in a studio. They have programs like memory time where people go and talk about nostalgic things, and they have game times like Bingo, gambling, and cards. It's sponsored by the Episcopalian church, so they have a number of different Christian services throughout the week. There were other places where their physical plan was superior, but St. Anne's Mead really spoke a lot about building relationships and nobody talked about that anywhere else.

My mother lives at St. Anne's where she is receiving excellent care by very gentle and caring employees! The atmosphere is great as is the food. For lunch one day during my visit, the residents were served a small wonderful and tasty salad, turkey ala king, roll with butter, and the coffee was excellent. So many activities are scheduled for the dementia unit where my mother is residing. She has had therapy, haircut, manicure, pedicure, arts and crafts, and strolls around the property where we saw a deer! The landscaping is beautiful and many residents have bird feeders outside their windows. In a month, she will be scheduled for a dental exam and eye exam. I had an excellent gut feeling on my first visit, and continue to be very pleased with the care my 91-year old mother is receiving. There are conferences every 3 months with the head nurse, social worker, dietician, life enrichment supervisor and therapist. All questions that you may have are thoughtfully answered.

We visited St. Anne's Mead. We liked it, but the rates were very high -- $6000 a month. My sister didn't want to pay that much. I had a sister-in-law who stayed there for about a month, and it was an excellent place. The food was excellent. They had plenty of activities. The rooms for the residents were very large. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

My mother-in-law was a resident at St. Anne's for 5 years. She was in the assisted living area and skilled nursing area. It was wonderful that once she moved there she never had to leave. She died surrounded by the staff she loved who had become her family. Now my mother is in assisted living at St. Anne's for almost 3 years. She calls it home. Her room overlooks a courtyard with beautiful roses and other plantings. The staff is attentive and responds to any concerns quickly. You will be greeted by smiles from each staff member, whether it be the friendly face of the front desk greeter, nurses, nurse aides, activity coordinators or food service staff. St. Anne's has a physician/physician's asst. who come regularly to provide ongoing medical care. There is also a podiatrist, dentist and eye doctor who have all cared for my Mom. I don't have to take her out for those services if she isn't feeling well. Quality of life is huge at St. Anne's! They have daily activities that fulfill their belief in the 3 Ps--productivity, pleasure and peace for each resident. They have an art room with wonderful things the residents have made under the direction of the art teacher. There are movies, entertainment, religious services (both Protestant and Catholic), themed parties and so much more. Another benefit I appreciate is that St. Anne's is on one floor. I really like that. I know if there is an emergency everyone can be evacuated easily even if in a wheelchair. In my mind multi-floor buildings are not as safe. The grounds are also lovely with a small walking path that leads to a gazebo. The residents also plant vegetables in the summer. I hope I haven't bored you with too much info. I just don't want you to miss out on considering this wonderful place for yourself or a loved one. My husband and I have come here for over 7 years and have no regrets in our choice for our Moms. Come and take a look for yourself! If St. Anne's is still here when I need care I'll greet you at the front door!

I am a friend of a resident of Saint Anne's Meade. In general, I thought Saint Anne's Meade was one of the most formal and elegant facility that I had ever visited in my 30 years of working in the health care industry. This facility is gorgeous inside and out it was just breath taking. The grounds of the facility are beautiful, very well landscaped and maintained. The common areas of the facility are beautiful and the surrounding neighborhood is also beautiful with an eye catching view. The residents' rooms are elegant very clean well kept and unique. The resident's rooms looked like apartments because some had couches in them with other matching décor that was also elegant and unique. The staff and management of the facility are very professional and very team oriented and perform their job duties in a professional manner. I think the residents get excellent care there. The staff treat the resident's like family and give the resident's the best of care at Saint Anne's Meade, the resident's also receive one on one excellent care from the staff and management. While I was there, I noticed that the dining room was very formal and elegant and the residents eat out of crystal dishes and silver silverware. The activity room was furnished with very elegant furniture the entire facility was furnished very elegantly and had very beautiful matching décor that all coordinated very well together. In addition to I also noticed that the resident's have ice cream social on a daily basis at 3:00pm-4:00pm with their family and friends in a very formal and elegant dining room. The dining rooms at Saint Anne's Meade are set up like a formal dining room in a house and it makes the resident's feel more like at home and I would give this facility a 5 or more star rating. Overall, Saint Anne's Meade is one of the most elegant nursing facilities that I have ever visited and I would recommend it to everyone, anyone and any specific group of people that are looking for a placement for their love one's because I know that their love one's would do well and would love it there.
