My mom is in Blossom Hill and it is a great place with great staff. It's actually an independent house, so each person has a separate bedroom unit, and there's a major commons area. The bedrooms are very decent-sized. The place was remodeled to accommodate wheelchairs so there are no tight corners to get hung up on. It's a very decent place. The food is great, all homemade and fresh. It has a beautiful outdoor area with a wooded view out the back. It's a really nice place and they do all kinds of stuff.

New Owner Beware

My mother lived here from April 2018 - May 2019. I had hoped she would spend the rest of her days here. The home is beautiful and we enjoyed it with confidence for a year. The bedrooms are nice, the home clean. It was sold in April 2019 and we hoped the new owner would make good on his promises. He did not even though I believe he had good intentions. The original staff (aides & cooks) were either fired or left. In the course of a month, it was like a revolving door with NO consistency of care. I felt like I needed to be there to train and monitor Mom's care even for the simplest of tasks, like brushing her teeth. Processed foods like Chefboyardee replaced homemade meals and the aides were so overworked that they couldn't do a sufficient job. They were caring and kind, just overworked and cast with new responsibilities without proper training and instructions. I felt he was incapable of retaining a consistent staff and that my involvement was necessary to feel comfortable with Mom there. When I expressed concerns to the new owner, I was told the employees were not my concern and I could move my mother if I chose to. I did just that and am thrilled I did. I would not recommend this facility.

I was very impreased by the atmosphere and sweetness of everyone I encountered! The owner has a heart the size of texas and the cook was whipping up something AMAZING! this home is so welcoming and calm! I was hugged goodbye followed by "welcome to the family! All of the residents were smiling and content. I am so HAPPY I get to become a part of this family!!!

Blossom Hill is a house. It's a Romanian family that does it. The house is beautiful. There are six ladies who live there, and most of them have Alzheimer's. It is just very, very nice. It is very homey. The place is gorgeous. My mom's room is a private room, and it is very nice. It is very good. There are meals there, and it is part of the cost. My mom likes it. I've tasted some of the food, and the cook makes wonderful meals. The staff seems to be very knowledgeable. They are very nice people. It is a family-run business, and they seem to really care. I just have a very nice feeling about them. The reason we went to it is, of course, it was a very homey atmosphere. I did like the fact that there were few people. Mom was in the more institutional place with a lot of people in it, but that didn't make her comfortable. This place is much more comfortable. She has developed a nice relationship with the people there. The cleanliness and the care of the home is great, there are not so many people, and it is located on 10 acres and Mom grew in the country, so this is another situation that she had been in before; it is just the whole thing. I felt comfortable that she would be comfortable there.
