St. Francis Home is a great facility to go for long term care and rehab. I have had my cousin and friends of my family stay there and a couple of them even stay their last days on earth there. They and their family were very appreciate of St. Francis and expressed gratitude after their or their family members stay. I appreciate how dedicated the nursing staff and management are. Staffing ratios are great. Staff are genuine and really care about the residents. I would highly recommend sending my loved one to this facility.

This is a sad, depressing and miserable place to send anyone you love! The food is garbage, the paint is peeling off the walls and the “rooms” are tiny. I did not even have room for a chair or room to maneuver a wheelchair. The second shift nurses did not care if I rotted in bed and would turn my call light off if I pushed it. My wife had to beg and plead for everything I needed, especially my medications. The first day I did not get my pain medication needed after major surgery for 13.5 hours. Even after my doctor called I waited 8 hours for help. No one attended to my basic needs. Nurses didn’t come, sometimes for an hour or more when called for help or never came at all. They said they were too busy. The physical therapy department was very good but my physical condition was declining due to neglect. I will say that there were some friendly people on first shift. I repeatedly asked for my blood sugar to be checked as it was very high but that was mostly ignored. My room was unbearably hot and my wife had to go buy me a fan as that was my only option. The cords from the TV were hanging down around my feet when in bed causing a hazard and the room was so small and things were left around causing trip and fall hazards. I transferred out to another facility after 3 days and am finally getting care. I would NEVER recommend that ANYONE receive treatment here sadly.

My mom was at St. Francis Home of Saginaw. It was a very cold atmosphere. The physical therapy was really good, but the facility in the whole, I felt, was very cold, like I was in a place where people go to die. It was very uncomfortable. I didn't talk to the staff a whole lot, but I know my mom did. She was able to eat back then, too. The food was awful.

My sister is in St. Francis Home of Saginaw right now. Her room is small. It's a private room with a bath and a single bed, and it's enough for a wheelchair. It's a very old building. The staff is OK, but you've got to push for answers sometimes. The spot for rehab is very small. I don't think they're pushing her enough to get her back to where she needs to be. Food wise, she complains. Housekeeping is good.

My mother is in St. Francis Home and it's probably the best one she has ever been with. It is always clean. They are so good with her and very helpful. She cannot really walk anymore, but they walk her a little bit. They have all kinds of activities and they have Mass so she goes to church right there. I can't say anything bad about it. When they go down to lunch or breakfast, they come in and clean that room every day.
