Oakhaven Manor had better parking and lower prices. We put our name over there and we're waiting for a call. They had an art room and exercise. I saw a two-bedroom place and it was nice. It was clean and very nice.

I went to Oakhaven Manor. The visit was fine. The gentleman who gave us the tour was very thorough, very informative, and told us pretty much everything we needed to know. The facility was very nice. We made the appointment because it said there was financial aid available. Well, it only sort of is. They have empty rooms to move in right away, but not with financial aid. There is almost an 18 month waiting list for financial aid. So that advertisement that there's financial aid available kind of annoyed me, since it's such a long waiting list. Without it, I'm reasonably sure I cannot afford to live there. I like this location. It would have been great for us because it's near where my daughter lives. I did not try the food. We saw that the dining area looked very nice. It was going to be a bit tight on the budget with $400 a month for the food. I don't know what the other meals were. I know dinner last night was fish and french fries at $13.50, and to me that was a little pricey. I an familiar with the whole area. It's in a very nice area. The layout of the room was fine. I had no problem with that. I met the gentleman who gave us our tour. There was a staff person on the elevator and maintenance person. She didn't seem real friendly. She was just there and barely gave us a nod. I'm not really sure how the rest of the staff is. There was a craft show going on, but I didn't get a sense of the staff being overly friendly. They weren't rude, but they weren't friendly there.

I liked Oakhaven Manor very much. It was very nice and very clean. Karen was the one who assisted me, and she was very nice and answered all my questions. Their menu looked pretty good too. It had a variety of different things to offer. They had nice-sized rooms, a laundry room, a wellness health plan that they offered if my mom needed extra help, a really nice theater room, a crafts area, a library with a pool table in it, and an exercise room. They had a lot to offer, but they weren't having any activities yet because of COVID. They were getting ready to set it up, and whenever they do have it, it's going to be really nice.

I toured Oakhaven Manor, and it's a nice facility. It's an older facility, and they are doing some renovations, but I think they need to do some more. The rooms are not equipped with a dishwasher for the one-bedroom units, and they only serve dinner, so the resident would have to do their own dishes during the day. With my mom, I know she couldn't do that without a dishwasher. The staff who gave us the tour was very good, and she understood the facility. It is an older place, and it is clean; it just needs to be updated. It's kind of dark, it's not vibrant, and it makes people really not want to be there.

My husband and I toured Oakhaven Manor for my mom, and we really liked it. It's seems like they really care about the residents and make sure that they have everything they need. It just it offers a lot. The staff is very nice, pleasant, and helpful. The place is very clean, and it just had a lot to offer. It's a big place, so there's lots of possibilities for her to meet lots of people and interact with them. She doesn't even have to go outside or worry about walking anywhere, except down the hall to your neighbor's apartment. It is all contained indoors. I've only met two people, and they were friendly.

We went to Oakhaven Manor last night. It was wonderful, and they did a great job. The room was beautiful, and very, very nice. It was a full apartment. The staff was wonderful, warm, friendly, personable, and very helpful. I'm hoping my father will go in.

I chose Oakhaven Manor because it's close to where I lived before, it's close to the church I'm gonna go to, it's across the street to deliver food, and it's also close to my doctor. The food is pretty good, and the staff is very nice and very helpful. The facility is in good shape and they totally redo the rooms between occupancy. They would have new paint, new carpets, everything. There's an arts and crafts room, a library, a card or game room, and a gym. There are quite a few things available, but they're not available to us now because of the COVID restrictions. We have a really terrific activity director, and she does bingo for us once a week, she hands out crossword puzzles, arts and crafts, and things to do in your room. She's always busy coming up with something. We're also doing an exercise program in our room.

Oakhaven Manor was very nice and I really liked it. Everything was to pnotch. Every Thursday they go downtown to go shopping, to the bank, or to appointments. I like the menus that they put out. I just thought it was very warm and wasn't in-your-face with everything. Everybody had their places and they were also very gracious. You could talk to people in the hallways. There were a lot of things to do and you didn't have to leave the building. The lady who took us around answered all our questions. My grandkids and I were very impressed with the place. I can't think of any fault with it at all. The place was easy to get around in and there weren't a lot of steps. It's up on a hillside and you can see all over, so they get good views.

Oakhaven Manor is a beautiful new building with lovely apartments and facilities. I just didn't see any interaction between the staff and the people who live there, and my visit with the lady was in a locked and not open office. They offer one meal a day and they have one woman cooking, so that means not everyone is using the dining room. You pay for everything separately there. They use the theater for religious services, but they have a beauty shop, there are stores nearby, and they're five minutes away from a nice mall. It's in a nice location.

I visited Oakhaven Manor. The rooms were very nice, but it was independent living only. We realized that it was not enough support for my father. However, it was very nice, very clean, and well maintained. The people were very nice and very accommodating. There were lots of activities for the residents.

I've sent an application to Oakhaven Manor. They were very nice and very cordial. Everything about it was great. However, there was no one on the premises on Saturday or Sunday.

My husband has been at Oakhaven Manor for a couple of weeks. I chose this place because it's close to my home and we can afford it. It also has very good feedback from everyone I asked about it. He is in a one-bedroom apartment and he gets dinner every day, a nice, well-balanced meal and very good food. There is someone who comes in and cleans his apartment and does his laundry. The staff are very nice and caring. Everybody seems very pleasant. They have a billiards room, a gym, a laundry room if you do your own laundry. They also play cards. They have a little library. All in all, it is a very nice and pleasant facility.

I hear a lot of good recommendations of Oakhaven Manor from Department of Social Services, also from a number of other people that I knew. It had a very good rating in the area. The staff have all been very helpful, really nice people. They provide a lot of services, a bus that can take the people if they want to go shopping, to theater, or to any events. It's really nice. They also provide cleaning services if you want them. They'll take you to your doctor's appointment. The room is absolutely nice, I love it. It's very roomy. The food was excellent. My mom is excited about going down to eat because they always have really good food. If she doesn't want to go down and eat, they'll bring it up to her room. I would definitely recommend this facility. My mom's happy and said she should have done it years ago.
