My husbands Mom has been their three months she loves the friends she has made not only with other clients but the staff as well. We both have found the staff wonderful! They treat the residents with respect and kindness. While looking for a place we never thought we ourselves would ever find what we wanted but this is the place to be. The office person, Jewell is just like her name says. The rooms are well sized bright and clean. The activities are to many too name there is always something going on. The activities leader, Julie is outstanding with the people. In our opinion Green Acres is the place to be.

I went to Green Acres of Greenville. The staff was very friendly. Their food seems to be more than adequate. It's very healthy and well-balanced. I've eaten there. It's very good. They have games, puzzles, and live music. They have different gatherings for different arts and crafts, which you don't have to take part in if you don't want to. They have exercise groups. And that's just what I'm aware of. I'm not there every day. But I know they usually have a lot going on all the time for everyone. The apartment is beautiful. It's huge. It's bigger than my friend's house was. He has a nice-sized bedroom and a good-sized living space with enough room for a small table and a small kitchenette. I was just thinking that if there was a place I had to go, that would be the place that I would choose to go.

Green Acres of Greenville was very clean and very interesting from the way it was set up. It had an outdoor environment inside. So, it was very pleasant. Might have been a little bit too much for my brother to understand though. The cleanliness was good. We saw the eating areas and their meeting areas and everything was great. The staff was pretty knowledgeable, too.

I went to Green Acres of Greenville a year ago. The girl I talked to said they did not have insurance coverage, they only accept cash. It was a very nice, orderly, clean place, with very friendly staff and very nice accommodations. I saw a one-bedroom apartment with a little kitchen type thing, a bathroom, and a walk-in shower. It had its own bedroom and living space. I was shown the dining room, and I think it might have been a TV room. It was well maintained. There are sidewalks around the premises and a little gazebo type thing for taking walks. Mom liked that she had her own space. We would have definitely considered the place, except for the financial part. It's a good location.

My parents are in Green Acres of Greenville. They've been there for over a week now. The staff is attentive; they come right away when they pull the cord. They're all friendly, too, and my parents like them. They let me look at the menu. It's normal lunch and dinner, and so far my parents haven't found anything they didn't like. It's been a good experience so far. My parents have a suite of rooms that are connected by a door, so it's like four rooms and two bathrooms altogether. It's all set up very nicely, and it's very clean. Within two or three days of them getting there, they were able to use the hair salon and get their hair done, so it was nice. They go down to dinner in the dining room; that's about the only activity they've done so far. Overall, it's all about the peace of mind we get that they're safe and taken care of.

I moved into Green Acres Greenville several months ago. It's a nice place, the help is wonderful and it all seems to be well and good. I think the staff is very good. I'd say I have a nice apartment, they have different kinds but this is the larger one. We have activities like bingo, games, parties and social hours, exercise, church and just about anything you need, including entertainment. They use the activity room for exercise, and they have a bus. In terms of the food, we have pretty good cooks now. I like the community because it doesn't remind me of the hospital. There are wide open hallways, trees and benches. The place is nice. The pricing is high, but it may not be for other entities that you get. Because we are not charged for every little thing that we do, you get charged for how you are assisted, which makes it nicer. The cost is all in one lump sum. I think the price is high, but not higher than the other places in the area.
