I went to Care Cardinal of Wyoming. It was very clean and the people that we saw seemed to be quite content. They were just going for lunch when we got there. The staff was very pleasant, but she wasn't very knowledgeable. She wasn't sure about the rooms, what was available, or the pricing. She showed us several different rooms. One person is small. The two for a couple that we saw in the bedroom or living room, they were using it for a bedroom is quite large.

My dad and I searched Grand Rapids for several weeks hoping to find the "perfect community" for him and we found that community at Waldon Woods. So many of the facilities we toured left my dad feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, and when we toured Waldon Woods, he immediately loved the facility. Which for me, was a huge relief finding the perfect environment for my dad to leave his home of 55 years and move to. Thank you to all the helpful folks at Waldon Woods, who've made this transition as smooth as possible for my dad.

We love Waldon Woods and all it has to offer. The staff is friendly, it is clean, the rooms are nice and bright and there are always activities going on to keep residents active. We are so happy with our choice.

Nice community. Large Hallways, Kitchenettes in all the room too. The lunch time meal smelled delicious! I could see my mom living here and loving it.

My daughter and I toured Waldon Woods in hopes to find a home for my husband who has MS. He is in the early stages, but recently has progressed. We loved the campus, and the fact that it was all one level (no basement or multiple floors), but felt that my husbands MS was too far progressed and that he would need more care than the other independent living residents. All in all we loved the set up of the community (one level and close to everything Grandville has to offer for restaurants, etc) and see great potential, just not for our current care needs and where they are going.

I got Mom into Walden Woods. It was the only facility I could find for the price. Her room comes with a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator. The food is home-cooked, and the staff is very good. They have a lot of activities.

As poor as I can imagine. No maintenance on bath room facilities, dangerously medication control which is a cost above basic cost. Extremely pour relations with family concerns and efforts to help with medical conditions. This facility should not be allowed to accept assisted patients.

We looked at Waldon Woods, and it was priced alright, but we just didn’t like it. It seemed older, and the hallways seemed dark. There was some bad smells in the building.

I visited Waldon Woods. It was fine. There was nothing wrong with it, but I chose the other facility because they were closer to me. The staff was fine. They were very knowledgeable, and they've given me all the information I needed. Regarding their rooms/apartments, they didn't have a patio or a kitchen, which is fine. My mom doesn't use those anyway. Their activities were fine. They have all kinds of activities.

I visited Waldon Woods a while back. It is a beautiful place. The room I was going to acquire had a deck on it and patio doors. It is just nice. The people working there was wonderful, kind, and polite. The area is close to where my parents lived. They have a calendar of activities such as bingo, church services, and other different things like that.
