My mom is in Fraser Villa's assisted living. It is a nice community. The nursing staff are very caring and they provide a good service for her. Sometimes there is just not enough staff to answer the phone as needed. The facility's upkeep, size, and layout are all very good. The place is a little dated but it's probably what makes the area so comfortable to the elderly because it looks a little bit older. The overall condition of it is good, though.

The staff at Fraser Villa was so great and so wonderful. The nurses were special and so were the aides. They would come and talk to me for a little while and not have to leave. I enjoyed them. The physical therapy department was so wonderful in getting my foot back into shape so I could come home. They were trying to get me to stay longer and I kind of wanted to, but I knew I had to go. They treated me very well. They were so good to me. Their physical therapy department knew how to treat people and how to get them through physical therapy and get them motivated to work. They had good food. I went to bingo one day and I wish I had learned about it long before. It was like three days before I was going home that I went to bingo. I spent a lot of time where I shouldn't have spent (I went to the snack bar because they had that). I'm a Catholic and so I went to mass one day. The staff were very exceptional and very dedicated people. They were wonderful.

My father stayed at Fraser Villa. It was very nice and clean. They had a very nice lobby area. The person at the front desk was really nice. The staff was very helpful and very accommodating to my dad, personable, patient, and very nice. The dining area was awesome, and the food was delicious and fresh. I've eaten there several times. The people that are eating have a chance to talk and eat with each other. The dining area was very cozy, too; it's not super big. They had a little cafeteria area outside of the dining area. If your family visits, you can go in there and play games and read books. They had a real cool bird sanctuary in there, and you could sit and watch the birds. That was all covered by insurance. If I had to pay out of pocket, I would be happy with that place.

My Mom was in Fraser Villa October/November of 2021 for about 6 weeks. During that time they were closed 5 times due to staff exposure to COVID, resulting in the inability to visit much of the time that she was there. I question their COVID protocols based on this high number of closures. We were also unable to get assisted living facilities to visit and assess my Mom so that we could determine where to place her and the notes that were sent instead were incorrect or unclear. My review is mixed. Mom had several nurses and associates that cared and that I want to thank. Unfortunately this was outweighed by the fact that they were short-staffed which caused us to receive confusing responses and direction regarding my Mom's care and many times they did not have enough staff to respond within a reasonable time frame when she needed something. I wanted to specifically mention one experience that we had. We scheduled a visit through their normal call-in line. I drove for an hour and 1/2, in rain and rush hour traffic to visit in the evening. When my brother and I got there the lady behind the desk was very rude and condescending to us and called my brother a liar and said that we did not schedule an appointment. After arguing with her for 15 min she finally agreed to let us in. I called the scheduling line the next day and was able to speak to the person that made our appointment and they confirmed that it was on the schedule and was not sure why she was not aware. It is a very stressful experience to have your Mom in rehab and this confusion and rudeness was unacceptable. I would have hoped that the individual that is the first person that a visitor meets would have some compassion and could handle situations such as this with much more grace than we were shown. I cannot recommend this facility at this time.

Very disappointed in the service that was given to my Dad from Fraser Villa Rehabilitation Center. He went in Fraser Villa Covid Free as that was mandatory for them. During his time there he was not taken care of very well at all. The staff was very unfriendly and all they wanted was my dad's insurance time to run out and send him home. They kept blinds closed tightly knowing that we came to the window every day multiple times a day. When they released him due to insurance coverage we asked them 6-8 times to do a covid test before he was sent home. Just as they requested one before he came in. They constantly ignored our request and everyone from the nurse to the case worker said "they will leave a message for someone to do that" One lady said she would make sure and get back to us and never did. So needless to say he was sent home with no Covid Test done. Since then Fraser Villa has had an outbreak according to the Health Department which makes us believe that is where he got it from. Terrible Service. They don't care about your loved ones - all they are about is the money and when times up they want you out. When they dropped him off they left him in a wheelchair in the driveway and the wheelchair didn't even fit through the house doors but they didn't care about that either. Check into this place before sending your loved ones here. I hope the Health Department fines them. They have a good reputation out there from long ago but I think it is old and needs to be updated because I would never recommend this place to anyone who cares about their loved ones. So sad that a family has to go through something like this on top of what they are already going through. How some of these people that work there sleep at night I will never know

I don’t have many things to say that are nice about Fraser Villa. My sisters and I have constantly contacted them because the Care our mother is receiving is subpar. Management has been contacted on numerous occasions and things get better for a day or two and then it goes right down the tubes again. Once this Covid is over we are moving our mother out of Fraser Villa

Fraser villa managment only seems to be interested in their ratings so maybe this will get there attention. Fraser Villa is very understaffed. I don't recommend sending a loved one here unless they are self sufficient. The aids are rude, condescending and downright mean to patients that need a little extra attention for necessities like help going to the bathroom. My mom is a diabetic and they were letting her surger levels get up to and go over 300. This can cause many serious medical conditions including Diabetic ketoacidosis and a diabetic coma. My mom needed help getting into her bed and the aid told her "I don't get paid to do this" and walked out. Another time my mom was left sitting on the toilet for 1.5 hours because no one would answer the call light. It got a little better after I called and talked to L.M. in managment but that only lasted for 2 days then they didn't bring her any dinner and I had to call at almost 9pm to get a nurse on the next shift to get her something to eat. Another time they only brought her the salad portion for dinner. I called L.M. in managment again and left a message but she never returned my call. I called again with no response again. I was told that they only have 2 people working in that section, 1 aid and 1 nurse to cover 18 rooms. With their rule of no visitors you have no way to help your loved one and the workers will do whatever they want to do because they know you can't get in to make sure your loved one is being treated properly. I am very dissatisfied with this place and will not recommend it for anyone that needs anything more than light rehab. If you need help walking you will be yelled at and ignored by the aids.

My Dad was here for 1-1/2 years. We had our ups and downs but when it comes down to it, there might be prettier places out there but that does not matter if you are looking for the best CARE for your loved one. It is pretty there, tho. I have seen many nursing homes and the care at others is awful. Everyone who works at F.V. knows all the residents and spends time with them. Dad didn't enjoy many activites but the whole staff tried and found things he was interested in. Dad wasn't easy to take care of. They did the best anyone could have. The rooms are very nice. Consider your loved one lucky to be at F.V. if they absolutely have no other option than to go to a nursing home. It's not home but it's the next best affordable option. It's truley a family there which I am glad to be part of. Dad recently passed away and I still call. I plan to visit soon because I miss the residents and the staff. Whoever wrote about the rude lady at the desk, she keeps your loved ones safe. She will be rude if she thinks the residents have any chance of danger. The staff that cared for Dad were very caring, efficient and nice. The food there is 1st class. They even offer monthly activites outside of the building for residents who are able to attend.

When the facility looses power the backup generator only powers the hallway lighting and they have to run extension cords for the O2 machines. The food is warm by the time it gets to the 2nd floor dining areas and there is not enough to go around to all the residents. The dishwasher has had a water leak that is stopped by placing towels around it. The staff is always short staffed for the weekends. A lot of staff that is there are busy looking at their phones and not worried about their residents needs.

Fraser Villa was really good. Everybody was happy and were all at the tables playing games having a good time. It's expensive, but they accept Medicaid. They had a section for memory care. They really take care of them. A friend of mine's mother was in there, and she loved it. The people were good. The rooms were nice, decent sized, and sufficient. The facility was clean. They had people mopping the floor constantly. The staff seemed pretty efficient.

My mother-in-law was at Fraser Villa for rehab. It was clean. She did OK, and they took good care of her over there. The staff's attitude was good. They kept good records on her and could tell the family how she was doing. She went to her rehab every day and that worked out OK. She didn't care for the food as much because the meals were just so-so.

The older woman at the front reception desk is extremely rude and unprofessional. Poor image of the facility to have her barking at visitors. Nursing staff seem overworked. PT staff is exceptional and shows great empathy.

Sanctuary at Fraser Villa was very nice, and we really enjoyed that one too. It would work with our needs as they do offer memory care and nursing home. One thing I did like is that they do have a secure entrance; my mother won’t be able to leave without somebody allowing her to leave. The ambience and the dining area was very nice.

I visited Sanctuary At Fraser Villa for my father. It was very nice. It was very warm and welcoming. They had everything that was absolutely needed there. They had physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. People were very nice. The work ethic was wonderful. The staff members were very attentive to the residents. The staff members were very good and very kind. They were very attentive with helping those who were having difficulties, e.g., feeding themselves. They were right there to assist residents if they needed help, and that was very impressive. They had luaus, dances, and ice cream socials. They had singing and wine and cheese events. They showed us their calendar of activities.
