I like Woodhaven Senior Community. I live in a villa. They have a clubhouse where we can go swimming, play bingo, do yoga, and do exercises. They're constructing a craft building, so we'll have a place to do crafts in. It's very pretty back here. There are woods behind me, which I enjoyed. They send out a calendar every month that has all the activities for the month (there's an activities director). The staff is very friendly and very nice. Their landscapers are not that great though. They don't keep up the lawns that well. Other than that they do a bang-up job. It's a beautiful place.

I toured Woodhaven Senior Community. Overall, I think it was wonderful. It had what I was looking for because I was looking for an attached condo or facility, and they had that. They had a one-bedroom with a garage and two bedrooms with a garage, and that was nice for independent living. The staff was wonderful. They were so attentive and everyone was just with open arms. They answered all the questions and gave you all the information. It was a nice experience. When I got to that point and had to leave this house, I would go there. The rooms were very nice. They had a little kitchenette, a little dining area, and the bedrooms, and the bathrooms were roomy. The doorways were wide, in case someone needed the extra room, very accommodating. The clubhouse was nice. They had a swimming pool. They had a gym area. They had classes going on in some of the rooms. They have plenty of activities that they would have in other rooms. And you could rent out the space for a special occasion or something.

I toured Woodhaven Senior Community last December and plan to move there in April. As far as I know, it's got to be a quiet area. They have activities. They have a swimming pool, and they have a hot tub associated with it. They have a community center and a library. Anything that you'd want pretty much they have there. It fits. Everything looks real, real good. Everything is upkept and good.

I toured Woodhaven Senior Community. It was nice. They have a big community room and a big cafeteria. They also had like a deli. It was really clean, and everybody was friendly. We looked at a one-bedroom, a living room-kitchen combination, and a bathroom with a doorway large enough that would accommodate a wheelchair. They have activities going on all the time. They have a bingo hour and stuff like that. They have a courtyard right off the cafeteria with lawn chairs. There's a big flower garden and a place for them to walk. One of the staff who accommodated me was a live-in and she works at the desk most of the time as a greeter. They have a manager that has her own condo or townhouse-style on the premises. They have actual houses that you can rent monthly for seniors. Some of the rooms were pretty long-distance walking to get to the cafeteria. Some people would have to be very close to the cafeteria to be able to use it. They have, for a price, where they would bring your dinners and stuff to you.

I have moved into Woodhaven Senior Community. The people are very nice. It is very big. The rooms are big. They have a workout space, and they have movies. It's very nice. The staff is very nice. They have cards, bingo, swimming, and birthday weeks. It is a little high, but I think you get what you pay for. They have three levels of care here. You have independent living, you have assisted living where they feed you, and you have the nursing home part of it. I'm in what they call a villa. It is very nice, very big, and very wide hallways. It has washer and dryer and two bedrooms. It has a screened-in porch in the back. The person who assisted me was very good. She calls you back with your questions. They have a welcoming committee, too.

Woodhaven Senior Community was a real relaxing place. They give the residents a lot more freedom like if they want to, they can walk out and go uptown and drive their car. They have it set up pretty nicely. I was there on a Saturday and it was a nice day, so some of the residents were sitting outside and some of them were inside doing some activities. They've got televisions, places where they can play card games, and places where they can put their crossword puzzles together. The staff was very accommodating and did everything for you. They took me through the dining room and said, "You could, if you wanted to, just let us know, we'll take your sister and make her a meal up here just like everybody else." and I thought that was kind of neat. They did not waste any time in setting me up for an appointment and just went out of their way to be good. It's like a brand new facility, so it was nice inside and out.

My parents are moving to Woodhaven Senior Community, they're moving into independent living. We went to see it and their rooms are only 700 square feet but they're livable. The people are just super friendly, over the top. I talked to some of the people that lived there and they loved it. I talked to some friends at church who had their parents there and they loved it, their parents loved it. I thought the food was good. It didn't taste like cardboard. My parents loved it. The dessert was nice. We only tried one meal, but the meal that we had was very good. They had a salad and I had fish and it was good. The facility is nice, safe, and clean. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. They also had activities going on all week long. They've got a nice lobby, a clubhouse, a pool, a sauna, and a hot tub. They have golf carts to take them back and forth from the clubhouse back to their home. They have transportation there, they can take them, I think within a 15-mile radius. They'll drive them around wherever they need to go. They got a parking spot for my dad who still drives. Just overall, very accommodating. When we walked through the hallways, the staff who didn't know me was super friendly and said "Hello, how are you today?". Just over the top.

I'm strongly thinking of placing my father at Woodhaven Senior Community. I liked the white halls, I liked that it's all one story because of his condition; he's almost blind. I liked that they had a package all together for me, and answered my questions. The staff was very friendly. She had everything ready for me when I walked in the door, we sat down in her office, my husband and I did. She went over everything she gave us information for, and then she proceeded to take us on a tour. She was very kind, and answered all my questions.

My husband & I live in one of the club homes, for almost 5 years now. We have enjoyed everything offered here. The staff is excellent in taking care of us. We have made some wonderful friends since moving here. Many activities to consider. I feel safe and secure living here. If you can pay a visit, I would be happy to show you my home, and tell you more.

My husband and I loved Woodhaven Senior Community. The apartment was so clean. They celebrate birthdays in the dining room. The place looked great. They had activities for them. They had food choices on the menu. On the back and the side of it, they have the high wooden privacy fence, but on the front of it, they let the residents go out in the courtyard and plant flowers, hang birdfeeders, and feed the birds. There's no gate and the residents could end up on the road. The price was very affordable.

We saw a large one-bedroom apartment at Woodhaven Senior Community, but it looked a little old and worn. The place was adequate so the staff was friendly but overall they didn't appear happy with their work environment so I wasn't impressed. They need to freshen up the furniture in the dining room and activity rooms.

Woodhaven Senior Community is really nice, and there are different levels of care. Medical help is available as well. The staff member was very knowledgeable and was willing to show me the different areas. The dining area looked very clean, and it looked like they eat well. They will also be opening a new clubhouse, they have workout rooms, and they have buses for trips as well.

We are currently staying at Woodhaven. It's good. I would recommend it. The rooms vary in size from small to pretty big. They have three meals a day and activities. The cleanliness and maintenance are good. The food is OK.

We decided to choose Woodhaven Senior Community, and so far, we really liked it. My parents moved in last June or July, and they are very happy with that place. Their apartment is very clean. The only downfall is the waiting list for a two-bedroom is so long. I can say that their food is fair.

Woodhaven was really good. It’s a good place to start if you’re younger and having minor problems. If you go further and get worse off, then they can’t help that much. That’s what happened to us. Her parents were in Woodhaven about a year and a half, and when they got to a certain point, they can’t take care of them anymore. We have to move them. Their manpower to help you is limited. They send a girl every day to make sure you took your medicines and check out which was a good thing, but if you pass that, they don’t have the facility there for people that need more help. The rooms were very nice; the place was nice. They got three different spots, it depends on what you need. My mother and father in law were in the villas. It was like a two bedroom apartment. The sanitation was good; they work on it all the time keeping it clean.
