The staff acts like you're imposing when you visit. The manager will walk by a resident's room and say rude things about that person's family member. When people visit, they almost always come in to help, not just to pester the staff.

I think that Barton Manor Assisted Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan is an excellent choice for placement for someone that is looking for an assisted living facility for them self, a friend or for a loved one. The common areas are beautifully designed and coordinated and very satisfying and tasteful to the eye. The common grounds are in the beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan, suburbs and the setting is serene and country like with acres of beautiful land and trees. Barton Manor offers their residents a variety of amenities and services. Their residents are treated like family by their staff and their management. The residents' apartments are very clean and the residents love to interact and socialize with one another. They provide recreational and social functions and activities for their residents there. They provide their residents a spectacular dining room that offers their resident a varied nutritional menu that fits into each and every individual's taste bud. They provide a team of trained and skilled health care professionals that are on staff 24/7 on 7 days a week basis. They provide on site transportation, laundry and housekeeping for their residents. There seniors socialize and interact with one another there. They provide their residents with recreational and social activities consistently on site and off site. While there, I noticed that they provide their residents with birthday parties, keno and bingo games also. They also provide their residents with various levels of supportive services and amenities that are necessary for their overall health and physical well being. They also encourage their residents to use their maximum levels of independence to keep them happy and healthy. In general, I would rank the Barton Manor, on a five stars rating for their expertise and excellence in senior care. I would recommend the Barton Manor to anyone 62 and above because I know that they would enjoy it there and I know that they would also do well there.
