About Dalton Rest Home in Worcester, Massachusetts

The neighborhood surrounding Dalton Rest Home offers various conveniences, including retail shopping, restaurants and houses of worship. Also, there are pharmacies within a mile of the home. Paved sidewalks are wide and perfect for strolls or to access the amenities and services the neighborhood offers. The facility has a nicely sized yard surrounded by trees and attractive landscaping and is a small community of thirty-four beds with a strong sense of home and companionship.

Dalton Rest Home serves senior residents who want to continue to be independent but can no longer live by themselves and need help with some routine, daily requirements, such as grooming, bathing, and medication management. Health care services are available at private physicians’ offices or one of several nearby hospitals, including the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

Resident-driven activities, such as games, reading and television, offer stimulation, social interaction and learning. Formal, staff-guided activities and programs are not offered. Residents are served three nutritious meals every day. In the backyard, an umbrella table and seating provide an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in nice weather. Like most rest homes, Dalton focuses on ensuring that their senior residents are safe, bringing peace of mind to family members.
