Presently I am in Quaboag Rehabilitation. My sister drives three-and-a-half hours to come see me, and I am looking for something close in this particular area pretty. I loved down here because like a week after, they called me, and they had a bed open up. This was the one that I actually wanted to get into. It was very clean when I came in. It just impressed me, and now being a resident here myself, the staff is excellent and very caring. The facility is very clean, the meals are good, and to be honest, if my mother and dad lived in ahead, I would put them here. I would definitely recommend this; my only reason why I want to go is because my sister is my only living relative close to me and like I said that’s a long ride for a 70 year old.

I highly recommend Quaboag. My mom stayed there for almost six months. The quality of care and the kindness and compassion of the staff is outstanding. I could not have asked for more for my mom.

Because my husband and I relocated from a suburb of Boston to a town near Worcester, I wanted my mother to also move. I selected Quaboag mainly because they had a music therapist on staff. (Music has proven to be great not only for enjoyment, but for therapy) We are thrilled with Quaboag. Now that she is here, I can see that mom's previous facility, tho rated very well and we thought it was fine, was at best average. Actually, there is no comparison as this is so much better in so many ways. Quaboag's staff is caring, compassionate and has proven to be honestly concerned with the welfare of their residents. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The facility always smells fresh and clean because it is kept emmaculate. There are numerous activities, many focusing on music, and a marvelous park in back for all to enjoy. The selection of meals, and the meals themselves are very good. We are thrilled to have found this gem of a facility for mom and highly recommend it!

My mother was sent to Quaboag Nursing Home for rehabilitation after a fall. She was there during July 2010. The weather became very hot and oppressive during her stay. The rooms were NOT air conditioned, and the staff was moving residents to the hallways & to the two large rooms that had floor unit air conditioners. The staff was not attentive to residents with memory issues, and since my mother has early Alzheimer's, I was there frequently, to be sure she ate her meals & to get her out of the hot bedroom. Her mental condition declined during her stay, and I removed her from the facility after a month. This staff was not prepared to give the support that dementia & memory challenged patients require. I don't want a card for this -- but felt it should be shared with other families!
