This, once outstanding, family owned facility was sold to a new corporate owner. The new management treats residents like income streams, not as people needing. help. The facility is not well cared for, and the staff isn't treated with the respect that professional care givers deserve.

This is the worst nursing home/rehab facility to send a love one. The nursing here act as if they on a thrown and their patients are their peasants . They have no consideration for the care or compassion for their patients. When family members of patients try to express concerns or questions their act as if we are morons and have no idea what we are talking about. They need to show more compassion and consideration for patients needs and concerns. The rehab department don’t really work with patients in their range of motion or skills . They feel 10-15 min therapy day is enough to bill 45 min to health insurance. Don’t sent your love ones here unless your want them to live here forever

I have been taking care of my mother for over a decade. This was our first experience with a rehab and the level of care did not satisfy us. They helped my mom stabilize her balance and walking. However, she got INJURED more than once under their “care”. They minimized the burns she received from them giving her scalding hot water. They failed to treat it and left it open for infection until I complained. She also lost a lot of weight while there after getting the building wide norovirus. My poor mother’s legs are covered with significant bruising and they had only excuses instead of answers. Nursing director, you are terrible at lying; My mother was NOT admitted with bruises.

A nursing home will never be like someone's own home but this place comes very close. The residents have daily activities that keep them engaged while encouraging them to be as physically active as possible. They have an onsite beauty salon as well as a pub and multiple dining areas. The facility is clean and well run. Most importantly, they took excellent care of my mom during the pandemic. The business office staff walked me thru the entire admission process and continue to communicate regularly. It's was the absolute right choice for us.

My Grandmother was admitted a while back and stayed until she was ready to leave this earth which was a few months later. In that time, she was treated extremely well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I remember taking her to sit outside and look out over the water. She also liked the music they had there. It was just an overall great experience for her.

My mom shares with a room at Clifton with someone else, and the place is a lot smaller. It's nice, they treat her well, and they take care of her diet and manage her diabetes. She goes to the recreation room and to the dining room to eat lunch and dinner at times with a group of people, and the staff is nice.

I've just spent eight days at Clifton, after a back injury that left me unable to get off the floor. My experience was wonderful. Everyone I met on the staff was very friendly and professional. All the other patients seemed to be equally happy about the care they were receiving. Because of the excellent care I received, I recovered much quicker than expected. I'm very grateful and recommend Clifton very highly.

This facility and it's staff almost killed my mother-in-law. They do not supply appropriate care to patients. My MIL has been in bed since breaking her hip almost a month ago and they weren't interested in moving to get her up and walking again. She wasn't urinating, and/or moving her bowels and the staff didn't know or care. No one was keeping track of it. She was in such distress and pain, her abdomen was extended and no one cared. Apparently they do not know how to appropriately do suppositories or enemas. The is a case of the appearance doesn't represent what the true care is of the patients.

Clifton nursing home is a very clean and efficient work space with an overall pleasant atmosphere to be in. Employees take their job's very seriously and are all about helping give the residents the best quality of living they can. Residents seemed happy or content with the home. From personal experience, I know an employee, it is a very structured working environment and really is all about helping the elderly.
