My mother is in Forestdale Park. It is an outstanding facility. It's newly renovated, and it's beautiful. The staff is outstanding, very caring, and very supportive. I haven't found a better place yet. She is in a one-bedroom unit. It's a bedroom with a separate kitchen and living room area. They have studios and a couple of other different styles of one-bedrooms. They have a separate floor for memory care type people. They've had painting classes, flower decorating classes, and people come in and do demonstrations with the folks. They have themed dining where they have Italian one month and Greek another month. They have different nationalities, where they also use it kind of as a learning session where they talk about the nationalities. The outdoor facility is beautiful to walk around. They have an outdoor space, and they have a grilling area where they will actually barbecue for the residents outside during a good weather. There's a lot of food options. The food is outstanding. It was a newly renovated facility within the last three years. The carpeting, the room layouts, the accessibility, and everything was excellent. I'm extremely pleased with them.

We did a tour of Forestdale Park Senior Living and it was good, nice and pleasant. But I did not like the fact that you have to pay so much, like $4,500 a month or let's say for $4,600 a month. I didn't like the fact that their apartment was in the corridor type thing, like of a hotel with corridors. But, I guess they're all like that. That was the 1st one that we toured, so I really can't compare. The people were very nice, as a matter of fact, there were a couple of residents there that I knew and everybody seemed happy. We were offered a meal because it was mealtime for a lot of them, but we didn't stay for the meal. To me, the staff seemed great, everybody said hello, how are you, and they introduced themselves. It was a beautiful facility.
