My mother-in-law just moved in at Brightview Arlington yesterday. She gets 5 hours of additional care a week, and we're getting help with her medication, and trying to socialize her. They have a beautiful library. Monthly, they have a hairdresser. They have a nail salon, that's also monthly or weekly. The rooms come with cable, cleaning once a week, and laundry once a week. So those are things that are included in the initial cost, but you can add to that. We met two different directors. They were good at helping the family understand what dementia care is all about. And then we met the head of physical therapy. He was terrific. He was very compassionate. I have not tried the food there, but they do have quite a fixed menu. I like how open, airy, and light the facility is, plus it backs up to a very nice piece of property. My mother-in-law hasn't been involved in any of the activities yet, but they have a very busy monthly calendar.

Brightview Arlington was very nice. The rooms were also nice. They had an exercise class, a Catholic mass, activities for gathering in the living room where a lot of people were there all the time, parties, and opportunities for visiting. It was very friendly and the woman that ran it, was extremely kind, gracious, and helpful. I would have chosen that first. They just didn't have any space available. They were filled up completely with a long waiting list. It was a small building. So, the common spaces were small, but they were nice and they were being used a lot by the residents. They had a big, beautiful library that had four machines for the visually impaired residents where you put the book under it and it showed up on the screen with a very large print. I have visual problems, so it would have been helpful for me.

My mother lived at Brightview Arlington for the last 4 and a half years of her life. The staff was excellent - helpful and caring. Lisa Sabatino was especially helping in getting hospice services for my mother for the last 10 months of her life. I visited frequently and often brought my grandson. Everyone enjoyed those visits. The medical care and physical therapy were mostly on-site and excellent. Brightview Arlington made my mother's last years as good as they could have been.

Brightview Arlington was beautiful and clean. I loved it. The staff was very kind and generous. The location was lovely. If I could afford to live there, I would find it very comfortable.

Brightview Arlington seemed more corporate and only three years old. It was a comfortable place. The memory unit seemed fine and had some nice views. The marketing director who gave us the tour was just wonderful. Their interactions with the residents were just fabulous. I could tell she knew them well and cared about them.

My elderly aunt is in Brightview over in Arlington. It is only six months old. It's a very nice, effective community with excellent medical assistance and good food. It is a safe facility, it's friendly, it meets all her needs, and it's in the area that she is familiar with.
