Spacious rooms. Many are formerly 3 bed turned into 2 bed. Staff is readily available for any of your concerns. The majority of nurses and CNAs are excellent. My mother was there for 3 years and was very happy there until her passing. Especially when my handicapped brother joined her after her first year. He has now been there for 3 years and is very happy there also. He enjoys the daily activities including Bingo, entertainers, Christian groups, etc. and gets involved in as many as possible. The activity staff make everyone feel welcome and involved.

My father would have died there. He was only there for about two days, but in those two days, they made some serious errors. It's understandable that his first meal didn't meet any of his dietary restrictions, but after this was brought to several people's attention, they made the same mistake two more times, despite saying everything would be run by the nutritionist. He also fell in the night, and no one came to his rescue for a long time. He's lucky he didn't get hurt more seriously. A few of the specialists seemed decent, but most of the time, the people caring for him were negligent and made errors that could have cost him his life. The whole place was depressing, the staff didn't seem particularly invested, and they were more focused on things like visits from Santa (these aren't kids...) than they were on providing quality medical care. My father was transferred elsewhere after two days and the new place was infinitely better. I worried that this was our only option, but it wasn't. Unless it's your only option, I would not recommend it.

My grandmother is actually in Heritage Hall South. She has been there for about a month now. This is our choice of a nursing home because they care about their patients. They actually take one-on-one with them. The staff is great. They talk to my grandmother. They did everything that she has asked them to do. Their service is excellent. I would recommend this place.
