On several occasions, the laundry department lost my clothing. On the third time it happened I gave a reduced payment for one month. Mr. Badolato, the Administrator at that time, gave me an attitude. Mist bathrooms are too small for motorized wheelchairs. As for the staff, eighty percent truly care about the patients. The food sucks. Probably because they are on a restrictive budget. Remember a corporation owns it.

My sister has been a resident of this facility for over a year, and although it looks very nice, I don't feel that the residents are treated properly. I've been on the phone with her when she's called out to a nurse passing by her door, and they don't respond. I have called the nurses' station and left a message for her and she's never gotten it. Her diet is not balanced by any means and she has lost weight. I don't get that feeling of 'caring' from most of the staff at Riverside from most of the caregivers and it appears that they may be short staffed.

Riverside Health and Rehabilitation was the only place available at the time. I liked the size of the place best. The food was good and the nursing staff was good and friendly.

I am not very pleased with the care that my grandmother receives at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation center. While the staff is very friendly, and always treats her with respect and is attentive- I feel that this is only the case when there are visitors around. I often see her and she has not been washed and sometimes has been sitting in her own urine for quite some time. The facility appears to be clean but the smell is otherwise unbearable. My grandmother has been living in this facility for about four years, and shared a room with someone else until just this year. While she is bed-ridden, there are often patients roaming the halls unattended and seemingly at hazard to themselves. Like I previously mentioned, the staff is very approachable and helpful. They are attentive when you ask for something and are always available when I am there. I am just curious as to why my grandmother is in the filthy condition that I find her in if the staff is equally as attentive when I'm not there. With that said, this facility is much cleaner and I am happier having her here than in other facilities that I have had very poor experiences with.
