I was very disappointed with Meadows #1641. They first showed us a cluster of three houses and a cluster of four houses. The cluster of four houses are for people that have more physical limitations. They are newer, have wider floor plans, a lot of natural light, and are definitely nicer. However, because my mom can walk, they showed us the cluster of three, which is Meadows #1641. Meadows #1641 was very dark and very dated with no natural light. There were really thin carpets everywhere. It smelled musty, too. The rooms were like a dorm, so there's no separation. It was just a bed, a sink, and a closet. The upstairs rooms were a little bit more spacious. They have one staff member at all times for 16 people. They also have one activity coordinator. Even though this was supposedly for physically able-bodied people, the residents we interacted with did not seem active. The people were decent and it was a very beautiful, tranquil setting, but once it came down to the actual facility, the environment was depressing.
