La Familia is located in a lush green area of Rockville, MD, bordered by Rock Creek, Lake Bernard Frank and surrounding forests. Seniors reside in a peaceful suburban neighborhood, while still being close to shopping, dining and other amenities in Aspen Hill.

La Familia is an assisted living facility that offers care services for seniors who require more support than their loved ones are able to provide. Caregivers are available 24 hours a day to assist with time-sensitive needs. A nurse is on-call to address residents' health care needs, and rehabilitation services help them stay as fit and active as possible.

Seniors are welcome to bring their small pets with them when they move to La Familia. A number of entertainment options are offered, including a games room, and safe, secure outdoor walking and jogging paths. The grounds are monitored to ensure the safety of all residents, including those who are prone to wandering or confusion. Meals are served in a private dining area, and there is a barber and beauty salon on site.
