Diet of residents is questionable at times. Meals range from healthy to junk food. Rooms are small but quaint and well furnished. For the most part caretakers are kind and helpful. However, I have heard complaints of certain nurses at times, but to my knowledge they have left the facility. I enjoyed the different common areas that residents (who are still mobile) can walk around in. My one true complaint is the fact that cell service is poor within the home, so I cannot call my grandmother as often as I would like. In order to call, I must call the front desk, have them bring her there, and when I finally have the chance to talk the area where the phone is is too loud with all the talking from the workers. However, i feel as though the facility is safe, and that the nurses and staff try and have the residents socialize with each other as much as they can to discourage the decline in health. Everyone there is very friendly and I feel that my grandmother overall enjoys Madonna House.
