My mother-in-law started in assisted living at Morningside House of Friendship and now she's moved into memory care. I liked the cleanliness of the place, the friendliness of the staff, her meal choices, and the activities that they have there. They have doctors that come in on-site and they provide everything that they have to offer. The staff is very helpful. You ask for any kind of help and they have been great with that. They help us get her appointment set up and they do all kinds of activities. They have wine tastings, they have people come in and sing, they had a ballet dancer in there to dance for them, they have painting, bead making, and a lot more.

My mother will be moving into Morningside House of Friendship. The price is very reasonable. It's close to my house, so I can visit her as much as I want. I like the facility. They're going to give my mother the care level she needs. She will be in a studio apartment. They have all types of activities. They have bingo, some arts and crafts, movie nights, and some sort of dance that they do with residents who are in wheelchairs. The staff was very helpful and very informative. They answered all our questions. They would hold the room for a month with a $500 deposit that was refundable.

Morningside House of Friendship is very similar to where my mom is currently, except that it's a bigger facility. But I noticed that it would be very comfortable for her because it's very similar to what she's at now. The staff was very nice from the time I walked in the reception desk. Melissa was extremely nice. So I thought that might also be a good fit for her. The staff was wonderful, the layout was great, and the rooms were a good size. There were a lot of activities and things for them to do. Some people were exercising in one of the little, open areas. They looked like they were having fun, and we just walked past.

My dad is a resident of Morningside House of Friendship. He's in the memory care, and we chose them because they were the only ones that offered respite care. He's in a companion suite, but it was provided for respite care with a bed and dresser. The room is in very good condition, and it's furnished nicely. I saw mainly just the floor level of the room he's in, which is the second floor. It's not a lot, just the dining rooms, and what they call a living room area. Everything was furnished nicely, and the thing about it is no smells; it smells clean. I haven't been there during activities time. I first toured it during a Saturday, and there wasn't a lot going on. All of the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. Any time that I've asked of something, they're quick to respond. I'm not exactly 100 percent happy with the way that my dad is being cared for, but the staff are very friendly. A couple of times the individual bathroom for my father has been quite filthy, but when I've asked somebody, they were quick to respond and clean up the bathroom.

Morningside House of Friendship looked nice, clean, and well-furnished. They had different apartment sizes, and because my brother is just going there in for respite care, we just saw the small ones. One was called community care, the other one was a studio. They're small, but it's big enough for him. They do crafts, like they're going to be making the decorations for doors for February, and the staff seemed friendly and helpful, too.

I visited Morningside House of Friendship. The staff seemed knowledgeable and caring. They have efficiency and a 1-bedroom. The grounds are very well kept, and the menu looked well-balanced.

Morningside House of Friendship is the third community that my mom has been in. The difference is that the level of care is much better than we have experienced in the past, and she is very well taken care of. The staff is very friendly, very attentive to her, and take their time. She cannot feed herself, and they take the time and actually sit there and feed her even if it takes up to an hour. They feed her and be patient with her, and she eats very well. The nutrition level is better for her. Her room is much cleaner and more spacious that what we have experienced in the other places.

Morningside House of Friendship was very clean and nice. The staff was very kind and helpful. We looked at a one-bedroom apartment that was very nice. The bathroom was very modern with a lot of hand rails and helpful items to help them get around. It was reasonably spacious. They had a lot of activities and a beauty salon right on the premises. They had physical therapy available.

My mother is in Morningside. They made arrangements to move her off the dementia floor onto another floor, and she's very happy with where she is, and I'm very happy with the staff. The staff is really good people. It's a good center, and my mom is happy with the food, and the staff has done a great job with my mother. They take them out on the bus to various restaurants. They have all types of folks that come in and sing and do church services in the lobby. They've done a great job as far as keeping everybody entertained in doing different things like bingo. My mom is very happy there. I gave them a deadline and made sure they had my mom moved to another floor.

Morningside House of Friendship was clean. The facility of the level two care where we would like to put my mom in is lively, upbeat, and something Mom would really enjoy. She would easily gel with the crowd there. There’s a lot of staff walking around and a lot of residents Mom can talk to. The dining area was roomy. The facility has a lot of rooms for the residents.

Morningside House is very nice. It seems to be clean and warm with people milling around. It doesn’t look like a nursing home. My aunt and uncle are getting a 1-bedroom with a sitting room. They don’t have a kitchen, but they can have a refrigerator because they’re in the dementia section. They’re nice-sized rooms. I saw a couple of activities when I was there. I know they have exercise rooms, a music room, and arts and crafts. They have hairdressers on the premises. I had my aunt and uncle assessed to see what level they would be in. The staff that I have dealt with so far has been very helpful and very accommodating.

I chose Morningside for my wife because when we visited, they have all the residents dressed up. The staff is very friendly. They have bingo, and what I love about it is the friendliness and the openness of the facility.

We actually got her to a place at Hanover called Morningside House. Of course she was only there for like a month before she passed away. As short as it was t,he facility was fine. They had two levels of Dementia care which was good. You had one from the beginning to a certain point, then one that needed more help. She could walk around, talk, and eat. But she needed help as far as bathroom, showers, and medication. The staff seemed fine. I think the ratio should be a little bit better. The security is fine. We went to a bunch of places, and they all had a security code to get in the door and a security code to get out. It was all fenced in so I thought that was fine. The rooms are fine. The single ones were nice, and they had their own bathroom and stuff. The double one looks like a large dorm room. But like I said, once they are in bed or in a chair, they don't need a lot of room because they're not doing anything.

Morningside House of Friendship is closer to where my daughter and son live, so it is more convenient for two of her grandchildren. So far, it has been great. My mother is not crazy about the food, and she is very picky. The staff is great. They are just very helpful because she needs a lot of assistance bathing; she can dress herself, but there are things that it just got to the point where we weren't comfortable with her doing like cooking. But she is really happy, and that is saying a lot for my mother. I like the attitude of the staff. They are honestly caring for the elderly.

Morningside House of Friendship was clean and beautiful. My mom would have a room if we chose that facility. There were also different activities. The staff were friendly and very understanding with my mom's issues. They were always available and the residents were well-cared for.

This facility is located on top of a hill but just near a main road. This is a very beautiful place. The rooms are nice; spacious, has a kitchen, a bathroom with all the bars to help the residents in and out of the toilet and shower. I stayed there a couple of hours only so I didn't really observe any activities or entertainment. Also, I can't say much of the care the staff was giving to their residents. However, I'm really considering this place for my loved ones.
