I like the fact that Kentlands Manor has a lot of amenities and is in a walking town near grocery stores, all kinds of restaurants, doctors, and dentists. It is expensive, but all things are expensive in this town. The cleanliness of the facility is very good. I like that you’re on your own here.

Kentlands Manor is a great place, but it's beyond my price level. The community was gorgeous. The people were very nice and friendly. The property was gorgeous. The apartment was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the price. I would recommend it to anybody who can afford it. The staff members were excellent. The building was very clean, inside and out. The layout was good. It was very adequate.

Kentlands Manor was a great place, very nice, and very brightly lit. There's a lot of activities. It's a very beautiful place. It had balconies for everybody and you could just sit out there and read. It's very convenient. There's a small town around there and a small shopping center. It is very pleasant. It has very nice surroundings. It's a small village living. It's a very nice neighborhood, well kept, and very clean. Inside the building, there's a lot of space to move around. Each floor had a library. There were windows, so there was a lot of sun that came in. The staff was very friendly. There weren't too many people there because it was more like the middle of the day, but the people were friendly and nodded their heads. Some didn't respond. Other than that, it seemed like a very pleasant place. A couple blocks down, there are restaurants and everything like that. You do your own cooking in your own apartment, and you could do DoorDash or whatever. As far as any prepared meals, they had none. The dining area was small. I just heard that most people probably ate in their apartments more than anything else. The staff gave me a schedule of activities. They had something every day there. The best part about it is they had the gym three times a week. They had shopping trips. They went to the casino once a month. They had craft projects there. Every day, there was something to do. They had activity rooms, they showed movies either once or twice a month, and they had a game room. Each floor had a space where you could sit and read. They had tables set up for games. There's a parking space for you there. It's very clean. Everything seemed to be in place. Nothing was just lying around or thrown around or whatever. It's very decorative. The lobby was very pretty when you came in, even the hallways were clean, and you didn't find trash, even in the little activity rooms they had on each floor. It was always clean, maintained, and very nice.

Kentlands Manor was nice but it was not affordable to me. You had to pay a fee to get in there and it was kind of expensive, but it was nice. I liked it. I liked their balconies and the area was nice. It was clean and they had a lot of things to do there. On each floor, there was something to do (they had four floors). They have a pool on one floor and a puzzle table on the next one (I like to do puzzles). So, the games and activities that they have were nice. The staff and the residents were friendly, too.

Kentlands Manor was very clean and it's close to all kinds of stores and things that you want to go and do. They're a walking distance. The lady that I went on the tour with was very knowledgeable and explained everything that I had questions about. The only problem with me was the rooms were too small for the amount of furniture that I still have, but I enjoyed that place. They have a salon and stuff like that. The lady explained that they don't have food, but sometimes they have guests that come to speak and they may serve pizza and stuff like that. They have activities. It's very well maintained. The people I saw seemed very happy. They don't take care of you like in assisted living. The room has a kitchen and everything.

Kentlands Manor was very nice. The staff member who assisted me with the tour was very pleasant. They had a pool and meeting rooms. They had activities for their residents. They had food and snack times all the time. It was a lively place.

Kentlands Manor was nice and they had different options for apartments. They provided 2 meals a day. Their amenities were nice, but they were very expensive. They had housekeeping that came in and a chef that came in. They also had transportation that would take you to the grocery stores or doctor's appointments. The staff there was very nice.

Kentlands Manor is a good one. They took me around. It's really good, but it was a little expensive. It's all clean and they keep everything up to date. And it's close to the shopping center and everything. The apartments were nice. They have two bedrooms available, but no one bedrooms. They have a swimming pool. They have movies for adult seniors and stuff. They have all kinds of stuff there. It was pricey for me though. I haven't tried the food there, but it looked like they had a good menu there. They have a nice dining area. They have three or four in there. That place is nice. The employees were nice. They took me around and showed me everything. They keep the place clean.

My parents are moving into Kentlands Manor today. They like it a lot, it looks good, with wide open spaces, it's clean, and the people appear to be nice. It's a great place, with a nice location. They seemed to be playing games, they play piano, hang around, and talk to each other. The staff was helpful, and amenable.

I am moving into Kentlands Manor. It does not have a buy-in, just a monthly rent, and has the services I need. It is also in an area where I used to live. They have a little library, a music room, and movies. It doesn't have much stuff to do, but I am not interested in those things. They take dogs without hesitation.

Kentlands Manor was very nice and beautiful inside and outside. The apartment was nice. The lady who helped me was great, very nice, showed me an empty unit, and told me what else is in the facility. I would have recommended it to my uncle.

I recently brought my uncle to tour this property and he loved it! He just sold his house and needed to move right away...as soon as he walked into the building, he felt like home! The staff was very friendly and the Leasing Director was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to be accommodated into a great 2 bedroom apt and looks forward to spending the rest of his days here. Would recommend this place to anybody who is looking to retire, especially because of it's beautiful location near shops and restaurants. I'm very happy for him and look forward to visiting.

I thought this place was for seniors 55yrs old and up and was very disappointed when it was not. The residents dont seem happy and the pool is a mile away, not what I expected!
Provider Response
Age for most independent living communities is 62 and over , our residents are very happy, In addition our residents belong to the local pool and are on the swim team during the summer months our Community Bus takes residents to the pool and also picks them up. Kentlands Manor looks nice but is way too expensive for my mother. Nearly $3000/month and no meal plans make it way out of income range for a senior living basically on social security
Provider Response
Kentlands Manor Apartments do not include meal plans our apartments start in price at $1,394.00.

I would have loved to live at Kentlands Manor but it was too expensive for me. The place is beautiful. They have theatre rooms and they take the residents to shopping.
