Hillside Senior Apartments

I was in Hillside Senior Living. It was OK. I just didn't like the idea of having to go to the laundry room. In the winter, you had a hard time, all the ice and snow, and that's the only thing that I didn't like. But everything was right there. You had the bathroom right there, the bedroom, and there's a living room and the kitchen. It wasn't the place, it was just me. There was always somebody there to help you. I liked the staff. They had someone that delivered lunches for a while, but then they stopped. It was a nice, clean place. They kept it clean. They have a lot of activities. It was just closed at that time when I was there. They had a room for exercise, and they had a laundry facility, and they had a bar where they could watch TV, listen to music, and then they had a computer. They had a real big, huge courtyard. You can go barbecue, you can relax, it's just huge, with benches.

I do live here and as far as I know this is independent living…. I have had no major problems and minor problems have been taken care of immediately and my interaction with staff has been fine….this is an over 62 community and I find that the people who complain the most are the really “crabby” ones to start with!!!!!!They complain about everything!!!!! CLY

I went to Hillside Senior Living Apartments at Gaithersburg and I wasn’t happy with the way that they treated me there. I wasn’t happy with it at all. The apartments were small, and the living rooms were very small. They give you a free storage area other than your apartment. I didn't like the layout/the way the apartment was set up. The walk-in closet was in your bathroom, and I didn't like that. They weren't as nice as these other people. I also they didn't like the way they conducted business.
