My mom is in the assisted living of Arbor Terrace Fulton. So far it has been very, very good. The facilities are nice. They are involved in getting the residents to engage in activities and things like that. They have a doctor on the premises, so every time something happens, you can get medical care there. The facilities are new. The food is very good. They have a menu every night. They have two or three selections of plain dishes and sides, and then they also have selections of sandwiches and things like that. They have a good selection. The staff is very good there. The place is very clean and kept up very well. They have a lot of different activities. Several times someone will come to my mom's door and say, 'Why don't we go down and engage in this activity or that activity?' so that my mom is not just sitting there all day.

While the facility is beautiful and well-cared for, my in-laws are not. My mother-in-law fell 3 times during the month of May. One fall required a trip to the ER. My father-in-law has metastatic cancer and his pain is not being adequately managed. The food is delivered to their room and if they are not ready to eat, it is left on the counter instead of being placed in the refrigerator. We have visited and found fish in a food container on the counter from earlier in the day. They have been in Arbor Terrace since October and there has not been a single month gone by that there has not been an issue with his medications. Nobody seems to care. Multiple conversations with Logan, the Executive Director, and Lena, the Nursing Director, have gone unresolved. Now, there has been an issue of my father-in-law being man-handled by an impatient staff member and I can’t get an Administrator to call me. For tens of thousands of dollars PER MONTH, it is completely outrageous and unacceptable.

My mother was in Arbor Terrace Fulton. They need a lot of help, starting from the head guy that doesn't care about the residents, he just sits in his office all day. I told him he needs to go out and learn who he has in the facility, the patients. The people that work in memory care need to cheer up and smile, and help the residents, not just play on their phones. It's just so many things, that's why I wanted to get out of there. And they told me to find a new place for my mom because she needed two people to take care of her, but other people in there need two people to be taken care of. So something was not right about that. I was just not happy with them at all, they're horrible people. When it comes to the staff, there was some good and there's a lot of bad, like three good and 10 bad. The activities, in the beginning, were good, but they kept losing the person that does activities. They'd come for a week and then they'll go, it was not a happy place so they would just go. The director, Logan, needs to be replaced. He's a young man that doesn't understand elderly people, we need to put somebody that understands elderly people and how they need to be taken care of.

Arbor Terrace Fulton was new. The living area was immaculate and the rooms were spacious. The marketing person was very informative and knew her stuff. I liked the professionalism, the care, and the friendliness of the people. We mainly toured the assisted living, but we also visited the memory care units and they did not smell like urine. We saw some residents who were reading, while others were engaged in a movie.

COVID response. Employees are masked but not residence. Residence share food clothing etc...No social distancing. Takes 5 days for results from COVID while virus spreading throughout community. Before applying ask responsibility of facility to family once participant is injured. Rooms are clean. Food smells delicious. Residents topically clean. Staff friendly.

My mother will be moving into Arbor Terrace Fulton. It's a very active community and the residents seem to be very involved and socially engaged. We're just coming out of starting to move out of the COVID pandemic so these facilities are in a very different mode. But in the last couple of months, they've started to open up and you can see the positive attitude of the staff and residents of Arbor Terrace Fulton. We're looking forward to more activities and to spend more time outside. We just got a very positive vibe at Arbor Terrace Fulton. We had several choices and it was a tough decision but we picked this one. Everybody was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming to my mom and it made the difference. We haven't tried the food but we saw the menu, and we heard about the executive chef and we got the impression that the food is very high quality and the reviews online mention the high quality of the food. It's relatively new and extremely clean, it's very bright and welcoming, and the 1-bedroom apartment that we looked at was a little bit roomier than some of the other facilities at the same level that we were comparing it to. And definitely, the better more closet space and bathroom space were better.

My mom has been living here for almost a year and she loves it. She enjoys all the activities and claims the food is amazing with good portions. The management team and staff are extremely kind and helps as much as they can although they are often busy. The nurses are so kind to her, they treat her just like family. My mom loves the library and the movie room.

We ended up putting my mother-in-law at Arbor Terrace Fulton. The place itself is immaculate and very nice, and the people are also very nice and accommodating. The care she has received so far is very good so we're very pleased. I haven't tasted the food but she raves about it being good. They also have diverse activities that go on so she's very happy with that. Their rooms are also very nice although I don't think they're large and spacious, though I wouldn't say they're really tiny. Compared to other places we've visited, the accommodations here are nicer, the care plan is the same with another place but this one is probably around $2000 cheaper. She's got a nice quaint little apartment and she's in a 1-bedroom with a living area so she's got 2 rooms that are 13x11 with one big area with a kitchen and a table she could sit down in. I saw her bathroom as well, and for her it's fine. The cost for assisted living is expensive.
