I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bradford Oaks. It's a facility that offers dialysis on-site, which is why it's the best choice for my father. They also have physical therapy and occupational therapy onsite. The room space is very limited there, he has an armoire cabinet and a nightstand. Most of the staff members are okay and all of them try to facilitate and do what they have to do for the residents. They're very, very short-staffed so they are trying to accomplish a lot of things with a lot of patients, and sometimes there's a language barrier with some of the staff and my father is hard of hearing. So that might be an issue. I haven't tried the food, but they're ok from what I have seen what they give my father. They have activities like bingo, church services, and a lot of things they offer. But it depends if the patients can get to the community room on their own because there are not enough nursing staff to transport them to the space. They have something going on quite often, they have movies and things like that, so they offer a lot of things and they seem to be consistently providing those. The way that they receive payment is through the income of the patients, so their amounts vary. So if you have someone who's retired from the government and their entire annuity and their disability is going to pay for their monthly services. But then you have someone who doesn't have all of that, and they are paying less for the same services. It just seems like it's a lot of money for the services that they get because they're giving all of their incomes. For the patients who can move on their own, if they have motorized chairs or are able to move on foot or in wheelchairs, they have freedom. They can go outside the front door, get fresh air, or go to the courtyard area, they can move at their own will.

I was very hesitant recommending this facility to my loved one due to the bad reviews. Turned out it was a great experience. From the touring to discharge everyone was great and very caring. They always attends to the needs of our loved one and that really helped in the speedy recovery. What we really appreciated as we were leaving staff are still telling us not to hesitate to call them for any questions. It made us feel like we are not on our own even when we left the facility. THANKS to the TEAM of Bradford Oaks.

Bradford Oaks was OK. The rooms were a lot better than the one I had my mom in before. She was getting rehab, there was pastoral care, some kids came in. and other things like that. My mind is clear on all the things that transpired during the time I had here there. What I like best was that it’s clean, and the rooms were much wider and nicer. The staff was pretty good.
