My father is at Victoria Inn, Inc and it's a clean place. They cook good food, and the people enjoy it. They have a lovely home and the residents speak so highly of it. It's made up of a very lively group of people, which is something that's different from other homes that I've visited where residents are just sitting quietly as if they're waiting for the end of life, but these people are spirited. From the moment I first went to that place, it smelled clean, and the staff is just completely dedicated to the well-being of the residents. Of course every place I go to, I always see opportunities for improvement, but as far as making sure of the health and well-being of the residents, this place is tops. I wouldn't have my father anywhere else, and I honestly think that he's still with us right now because of them. There's also ample food and they say it's so delicious. The place itself is clean, bright, and cheerful. Although you're not going to find huge rooms there, what they have are comfortable and clean, and the residents don't spend much time in them. They like being together in the common area, which is a huge and bright spot with plenty of windows. They can safely access the outside area without being able to escape into the neighborhood or go wandering off. So, it's just a safe place to be. However, if someone is looking for an everyday schedule of activities, they don't have that. I think that is one thing they could possibly have improved, but I know their workers spend so much time making sure that they're fed and clean. They would probably need more staff to do it, but we already have that covered. We do activities as our family does, and there's another lady's family who comes in and does activities with her. So, we step in for that part, because the most important part to me is the care, which they do a phenomenal job with.
