My wife spent two weeks at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. Their care was exceptional. We found out what they needed to do to calm her down. It's a big hospital with a lot of patients. They have therapy. It's a 28-day program. The people working there were good. They're really good and professional. They also could give you a guest meal, and the food was good. My wife liked it. However, they have parking problems. You have to park a long way from the door. The patients used the same front same door, and they don't have an ambulance dock. That's the only thing I didn't like about them.

My grandmother stayed at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. The food was horrible, and one thing that I want to point out about the food is that it is a Jewish facility. They have Jewish practices that they impose upon all of the patients and that was not clearly communicated to me prior to her going there. Had I known I would not have elected for her to go there. On Saturdays, I guess they don't believe in using electricity, so she was given cold food and it was supposed to be hot. It was ridiculous. I had to end up bringing her food and bringing her snacks because that whole situation was horrible as far as the food. The facility was OK, it was well-kept. The staff was friendly there as well, but it was much like the other facility. It varied from the day shift to the night shift, so the day shift is gonna be more pleasant, and the night shift is more laid back and not as attentive.

My mom is at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. It's great. It's a really nice place. The staff is great. They call me every day to update me on how her care is. They have been great. The social worker, Stacey, she's awesome. She has also been trying to help us find a place for Mom. So far, Mom has been doing a whole lot better as far as whatever medication that they have her on. Right now, she has been doing great, and right now, we're just waiting to see what's next. The only problem I have with them, they need to get more organized. Other than that, the staff is great. They try to make them feel comfortable, but my mom is an escape artist, and she would try to find every way to escape. They just need to be more organized with their property like who has what and make a short inventory. The inventory just needs to get a little better, but other than that, everything else I would give a 5. The place looks clean. They have TVs in their rooms. Plus, they have different people come in.

I stayed in Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center & Hospital for about 6 weeks. It's right across the street from Sinai Hospital. I was there for rehab after getting out of the hospital. I like the place. The staff was pretty good, and the nurses were excellent. The support staff was good, and the facility was nice and clean. The food was good. The rehab was excellent, both physical and the other kind of rehab. I had two different rehab therapists. One for the upper body (Benjamin). He was excellent. The social worker was not so good. I didn't see her until the day that I was ready to leave. The doctors were good. The cleaning staff was good. I felt like I got very good care there on both day and night shifts. I would recommend it to anyone who needed the care that I needed.
