My mother is at FutureCare Courtland. We ended up going there. We're not pleased with the food. They're not very considerate to my mother's renal diet. However, the facility is very clean, and the doctors are very thorough, so it's a double-edged sword. They allow us to bring her food, so she is eating something that's fit for her. It's more of a rehab and dialysis center, but where she is now within the organization is more in rehabilitation. I have been very pleased with everyone with the exception of the culinary department. One of my mom's devices was literally taken from her room, so I'm trying to be more understanding if it was actually stolen or if they thought that it was their equipment, so I don't know. That was a one-off incident. Other than the food and that one-off incident, everyone has been wonderful. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to go into the facility personally because of COVID, but my mother is comfortable with its cleanliness.

My grandmother was at the Future Care Courtland. They walked in and found her on the floor and she never went back. I briefly saw her room. I wasn't able to check out the whole facility. It was a basic one. It seemed like they were understaffed the day that I went there, but the only other time that I visited there was after she had already moved to the other facility. There was a nurse who helped me get her belongings and get the paperwork. They were unorganized.

The place is a craphole. No visiting hours due to COVID. The lobby is lovely but that's where it ends. My partner was there for one night and begged to come home. Now, I'm trying to get home care but they can't do anything until they get a fax from Future Care? Courtland. Tried to call but I get a recording. I'm about to cry..

Mom stayed at FutureCare Courtland last year for rehab. I couldn't wait for her to leave, that place was absolutely horrible. The only thing that I remember my mom actually said that was good was the food. She said the food was very good, but as far as attention to her, they lacked in attention to her. I had to continually ask for someone to do her hair, they lost her clothes when I first brought them there, they gave me the run around of where they were, they put other people's clothes on her, and tried to tell me that they were hers. The nursing staff all have a very heavy accent, you can barely understand what they were saying a lot of times. I will say that we were able to Facetime a lot, I made sure of that 'cause I needed to check on her. My mom said that there were mice that would hop around in her room at night. We weren't allowed to go in because of COVID, but we were allowed to come and visit on the outside. When they brought my mom out she didn't have her own socks, and her feet were dragging the ground. I brought it to their attention, of course they fixed it, but it was a mess. They need to improve on all levels, accountability being number one, and care. If I were to put a loved one in any kind of facility I would never think to put them there. These are the things that I noticed with my mother, and I was one that called every day, quite a few times a day. I can only imagine what people that don't have family to check on them, what condition or state that they would be in. I would be very afraid to put my loved one there. We were only allowed to see the lobby where you come in, but I guess because of COVID we couldn't go past the lobby, and the outside corridor where they would bring her out when they first started the visitations outside. The corridor was unkempt, leaves were all over the place, it looked like it was used, but not really used that much. The lobby was OK.

I've been here for over a year. The staff treats me well. I love the activities, especially bingo and I like painting. The rooms are kept very clean. The staff always gets me what I need, when I ask for it. I’ve certainly been making some improvements in my health, since I got here. I would recommend this to my own friend, if they were looking for this type of care. It's really been all good times for me here.

This is one of the worst rehabs ever. My gma went there for rehab, within 8 days she lost 15-19 pounds. No one took iniative to notice that she wasn’t eating because she needed her food chopped and needed encouragement, had i not insisted on seeing her weight chart and food intake chart no one would’ve picked up on what was right in front of her face. She also needed to have a nutritional supplement also that went without notice. By day 8 she also had a pressure sore on her heel and (one her toe that i noticed.) Also on two separate occasions i noticed medication she had spit out. I wouldn’t recommend this place for my dog.

The nursing staff is great. Mary is top shelf status, she is one of the best nurses. It starts with the top and filters down to the staff. They do an awesome job over there.
