I was moved here on Nov. 26, 2018, and I have nothing but good to say period. I love to read and ive been thinking about joining the resident council. There are a lot of options here to keep yourself busy. For example, I went to a concert once which I really enjoyed. Food is institutional, it has good and bad days, but the rooms are kept very very clean. I would recommend anyone to come here. Five stars. Physical therapy has been very helpful. Ursula, who helps with my PT is wonderful and she's really made a difference for me.

I came to this facility postoperatively to be rehabilitated after total knee revision I arrived at 8pm didn’t receive pain medication until 2am AMD then again at 6 am . I was met with a Physical therapist the next day who asked me impertinent questions and a Speech pathologist of which I did not require speech services the staff on duty try their very best being over worked under paid . I sought help from Maryland Board of nursing who Referrred me to another agency which I am following through with as well this facility is antiquated in the times I never received my pain medication as of this writing and it’s late afternoon I have recently received my morning regular medications so if you desire to have you health neglected this is the place to go . Just imagine I came for short term rehabilitation this is. Facilty designed to care for our seniors and I’m sitting in a room with a lady who had stench of urine coughing like she invented Covid yet the lack of care is commonplace were in trouble . The rooms need to be updated the entire facility needs to be torn down and remodeled

I’ve been here for a long time, and the staff treats me fine. I really like my time spent in the multi-purpose room, where I participate in activities and visit with my friends. My room is kept quite clean. I really like the activities, especially the games we play. Since I first came here I've been recommending FC Charles Village to people I know. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five, is because I would like to go on more trips.

I came to Future care Charles Village at the beginning of January, and I've found that three specific staff members standout. Angie, Danielle and Mike are all excellent, and do whatever they can for me. The therapy offered is really good, and they’ve been really helping me. It's also very clean here, cleaner than any other facility like this that I've seen. My bed is always made, and whenever my family visits they always mention how good it smells. The housekeeping department is excellent.

Everything is average as I see it. The staff do their job but are not super friendly. They have recreation an event when the family can visit such as Easter and Christmas dinners but when they do the service is horribly. You don't get served until an hour or two after the event starts. It seems like they never employ enough people. Many of the residents need help getting around, my aunt for example, and no one is available to help. On the other hand it is always clean and the residents clean and cared for, which is more than I can say for other facilities in the city. They make sure to take care of the residents, but the place isn't very personal. I haven't really been into many nursing homes before so I don't know if that's how it usually is. Overall I give it an average rating for a pretty average facility.
