About Evergreen Valley Assisted Living in Baltimore, Maryland
We have an excellent reputation throughout the community for the care that we render. Our philosophy has always been "Aging in Place" which means that should our residents experience a decline in health and more care is required, we do not suggest or require them to leave our facility. Instead, our staff/family continues to care for you or your loved one. We feel that change is always traumatic to the elderly or ill, so we continue to offer loving care extending Hospice Care as needed.
We are honored to be recognized for our excellence in both nursing and personal care throughout the community. We also feel privileged when we are selected to care for you, your family or your loved one.

Evergreen Valley Assisted Living was like a big, old house. It was clean and adequate, but it wouldn't be a good fit for my cousin because a lot of the people there were developmentally disabled. The people looked clean. The house itself was older, but it was pretty well maintained. We were a little concerned if there would be room for a walker or wheelchair in terms of getting around inside. The staff was fine. The rooms were mostly shared. The kitchen and where they would eat were well maintained. There wasn't a lot going on when we were there because it was a Saturday. They said there's a church group that comes in. The food menu looked balanced.

At Evergreen Valley Assisted Living, wheelchairs are not acceptable in the house that they have. The rooms have narrow doors, so it is hard to fit a wheelchair. The staff is wonderful though. It’s a the husband and the wife who is taking care of the patients. They did have other staff there. It is a small house, and it is very nice in the country. I thought it was very nice. I wish my dad can go there, but my dad is in a wheelchair. I think the patients would be happy out there because they have a porch that they shaded, and they can go walking on the grounds, which is away from the street. It is a very nice place. It is very quiet and subtle. The only thing you hear is the nature out there.

I went to view this location on 08/03 unannounced nice house. Friendly residents. Upon entry there is a sign in book and staff. While I only was able to view the downstairs location . The home did have a slight odor which my be expected . Great location side street safe parking sidewalk free and clear and safe. I would have liked to view the upstairs but the staff had a busy day . The coordinator did call me right away . I have forgotten her name but she was very helpful
