My dad moved into St. Anthony's Nursing Home. The place is pretty old. But as far as the care, I feel like the care is very good. The staff is very nice and very reliable. They call me for everything that changes with my dad. Any changes, they notify me. The rooms are good sized. The dining area is large and spacious.

My mom will be moving into St Anthony's Nursing Home. It was very clean. The staff was very nice, and they have a dementia care unit. They gave me a hand-out and discussed the type of rooms I would get for. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. It's not too many in a room is what I like, the most are two in a room. I was able to see the bedroom. I think there was a bed and a side table. It was clean on the outside as well as the inside. They had a nice garden area. They have nice flowers and stuff on the inside, in the hallway, and everything.

The care or lack there of provided by the staff is AWFUL! The staff is incompetent and that can be fatal working in this setting. I will never send another family member to this place, nor will I refer anyone! Communication is non existent.

The care is worse than you would give your dog. Feeding my loved one a sandwich and potato chips for dinner on a soft diet? Patients are not ever turned as required by nursing home standards. Patients are not readied for bed or made comfortable to sleep. Visits by a doctor are non-existent.

St Anthony's Nursing Home's staff is excellent and I'm very pleased. I like their competence and concern for my friend and the residents. They're very attentive to the needs of the residents. I also like the equipment in the rehabilitation area. The cost seems to be comparable to other facilities not the least expensive, but not the most expensive either. They have standard amenities like a dining area, some entertainment, a TV in every room, and an enclosed area where the residents can go out to experience the outdoors, but it's fenced in so the residents can't wander off. The rooms are not spectacular, but they're OK. They play bingo, people come in to perform and sing songs with them, and there's church services once a week. They take the residents out to lunch occasionally to local restaurants. There are activities every day with a complete calendar. The place itself is very clean and there's no odor.

St. Anthony's was positive and good. The rooms were small and mostly had two people. The staff was very nice, and there were a lot of them. Mom says the food is usually good. They just finished doing some Mardi Gras and did some Valentine's stuff.

This is an excellent facility where you are immediately welcomed and treated like family. The open door policy is great and the friendliness of everyone is remarkable. They also take pride in not only themselves but the cleanliness of the facility is amazing. I encourage anyone who has to make the tough decision of placing their loved on in a Nursing Home to consider placement at St. Anthony's Healthcare and Rehab whether it's a short stay or if they need long term care. The staff is very caring and listens to the residents needs and provides the best care. The facility is always open and always have activities for the residents whether they take them on the short trip outdoors in the facility or if they go off campus the residents are always busy bees. The Administrator DOES NOT take a back seat in his facility he is very involved with all residents and knows them by name. You will see him talking, interacting, and helping the residents out with all their needs. How many facility can you say actually do this? Again, making the tough decision of putting your loved one in a Nursing Home is can be frightening but I assure everyone at St. Anthony cares for all their residents and you can be sure St. Anthony's will put your mind at ease and you'll never have to worry about your family because once they are at St. Anthony's they are a part of our family too.

Patients receive poor nursing care here. If your family member falls instead of preventing the fall they drug them until they are unable to get up. Also medications are not given on time and they are often left wet in dirty diapers

My dad had his therapy at St. Anthony's Healthcare and Rehab. But there was an incident where my dad hit his foot and it bled. He sat at the nurse's station with blood all over his sock and nobody said anything. The he had a bedsore that wasn't taken care of. There was also an incident when I saw my dad lying on the floor watching TV. He fell out of bed he hit his hip and he was in pain. They should have placed a rail on their bed.

We're really pleased with St. Anthony's. They've been very helpful with my mom and they're constantly watching and making sure everything's okay. She really enjoys being there. They've been really, really super for us. The place is very clean. Since we've been in there, I've never ever had a problem with any type of odors whatsoever as far as that goes. They're very well-staffed. There are always a lot of nurses in the hallways and they're very straight with what they do. They have mingles for the residents and they have entertainment. It's all really great. The staff at St. Anthony's make sure that mom has something to eat. They'll bring her to the dining room and bring her back, they'll give her medication, and help her with showering. They have a very wholesome and nice staff always saying "Hello, how are you doing? How are things doing?" We feel very, very confident that they're going to take care of my mom.

Some of the staff of St. Anthony's is really good, and some are not. They could improve on more individual attention. They could also improve on the cleanliness, and more patience with feeding residents who can't feed themselves. They need more and better staff.

My father was at St. Anthony's and the care is neglectful. the staff ignored him, he has fallen several times, and has several wounds from them moving him with some lift. DO NOT SEND YOUR PARENTS THERE!!!!!
