I visited a friend at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It was good, but there were so many people there with so many different needs. The patient to staff ratio was low. It was clean, but it had a little bit of age to it. The staff was friendly; they just had a lot to do. It wasn't one-on-one as much, and it felt more like an institution.

They are understaffed, nurses seemd too stressed, and administrator has a very "my way or the highway" attitude. She made us feel very unappreciated.

My husband stayed for two weeks at Parkview before he passed away. His room was spacious. The staff was okay. However, I was not very happy with them. My husband had already passed away for two and a half weeks before the administrator called and asked how he was doing.

My wife is doing all right there. Well, she wants to come home, but I could not take care of her here by myself because she needed more rehab and professional care. I think her needs are being met there. Their cleanliness is fine. They're constantly cleaning their facility. It's the best facility around here. It's a nursing home but there's one section of that facility that's strictly for physical, speech, and occupational therapy. So if you have a specific need, they have a specific area for that so you get focused treatment. The nurses I've had contact with, and the CNAs, and the social workers are friendly. Really nice people they have there. I have no complaints at all. The rehab people are really nice because they know the patients by their first name. Right now, that's where my wife needs to be; to get the help she needs and I'm comfortable that she's there.
