Gone down hill. New manager is out of touch and not receptive. Too much changeover in personnel. Got rid of their good cook and meals arent very good anymore. Not the same since Homestead took over

Homestead at Crestview is not near anything, but it's in a nice and quiet neighborhood, and it's not really near a busy street and has sidewalks. If you needed to go Walgreens to pick up Q-tips, you would need a ride because it's 5 miles away. It wasn't located near any businesses that my mom frequents. The lady that toured with me was amazing and made me feel very at home and comfortable. All they had are studios, but they're large like you can still put in a couch, a few chairs, a bed, and dressers. I had a vision of what I could put in the room for my mom just from the way the lady spoke to me. She commented that they needed to do some updating, but there was nothing glaring to me that said "Hey, we need to update it," so there wasn't anything like that. I really did like the place a lot.

My mother has been in Homestead at Crestview for six weeks, and so far, it is great. She likes it. The staff is very nice. She has a single room with a little kitchenette, a place for her bed, a living area, a bathroom, and a big closet. I ate there a couple times, and it was very good. I think the staff is very caring. They love the people there, and that’s very important. We visited other places, but this is the one that we liked the best.

You have apartments, assisted living services and full nursing care at Lakepoint. It was efficiently run and clean. I was impressed. However, sometimes they didn't get the rooms available when they needed to.

Lakepoint Nursing Center is a very clean place and seemed to have been kept up well. The staff were friendly and greeted us with smiles as we entered the facility. I was amazed at the professionalism of the employees. The quality of food is important to me and these folks seemed to have been preparing good old fashioned home cooked meals. Also, we notice that one of the owners actually worked at Lakepoint. He had an office there and it really meant a lot knowing that he was on site and managing the staff. We felt like the center was small and cozy, yet large enough for the nice amenities. For example, Lakepoint has a reputation for their beautiful outdoor sculptures on display at their facilities. With the sculptures and landscaping, we felt like we were in a botanical garden. It was just beautiful. We highly recommend Lakepoint and I would feel comfortable recommending this assisted living facility to my family and friends.

This is a continuum of care community that is busy, bustling and moving forward. Management is large here. Nice open grounds just west of downtown Wichita. The independent cottages are connected to the main facility so seniors can link into the meal services and activities programs. The beauty of continuum of care facilities is that as level of care increases, appropriate accommodations can be made without requiring a major move. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is served in a large dining area. Ammenities and upgrades have been added. Alzheimer's/Dementia unit has been added. Family friendly. I like this place, but check the survey. This location has changed hands several times. Did have problems in the past, but I think the current management stays on top of it.
