My mother-in-law has moved into The Mapleton. It's clean, nice, and pretty new. I like it. The staff members are pretty good. They didn't give me a tour around. I got to walk around on my own. There was only one person there at the time, so they were kind of busy. Other than that, it's not bad. I had been there where they had an activity, and I've heard about them from my mother-in-law, and they've all been pretty good. She's participated in some, which is good, because I wouldn't have expected that from her. She did some painting and they had bingo. They were doing conversation visiting and stuff. Considering we've had a few little incidences with meds and call lights, that would probably be their weakest area. I think they're running a little bit lean.

My mother-in-law will be moving into The Mapleton. They're very family oriented and they treat everybody like family. They go the extra mile to make it work for you because the staff made some adjustments on the fees to help us out, so we could get in there. The place is very homey. They have activities and devotions, and they watch movies. When they eat in the dining room residents can actually see over the counter into the kitchen, so they get to see the cook and smell the aroma of the cooking. We had seen their dining room, and they were making banana splits and smoothies. It looked really good. The staff members were wonderful. Everybody we met and talked to was very caring and just excited to see my mother-in-law move in. They said they're there to help with whatever. They're allowed to walk the hall at night if they want. There's really not anything they can't do. They just want it to be like their home. The staff said this is their home and the workers are the visitors there.

I toured The Mapleton. I saw people coming out in assisted chairs and their people were talking to them, not just saying, 'There you go and off you go'. Some were playing cards like it was at the country club. It was clean, and the smell was so pleasant. The staff was happy to walk me down the hall and show me the room. We talked a little bit nonchalantly, and she sent me to the other building. They showed me the therapy room. She showed me the salon. The atmosphere was awesome.

I toured The Mapleton. That's more of a smaller setting. It's more like a large home. I don't know how many rooms they have there for residents, but it's more of like, you have a kitchen slash activity room in the center when you first walk through the doors and then kind of surrounding that, or on each side of that has been where you have the residents rooms. I only saw just a couple of people there. They were very friendly.

My mom will be moving into The Mapleton. We like the size of the place. It's cost-effective. We had seen the menu, and it looked good. The building is very nice, neat, clean, and modern. They take you to places, and they have a hair person and a doctor that come in. You can have everything there.

I toured The Mapleton. The rooms were nice. The staff who gave the tour was good. At that time, everything was nice. Everybody was sitting in their chairs and watching TV.

My parents are in The Mapleton Assisted Living for three months now. It is a small community with two buildings. My parents were the first ones to move into the building. They're starting to get filled up now. My parents receive a lot of attention and care. The ratio of staff to residents is very good. They're hiring a lot of new people right now. I'm really happy with the accommodations and the place. They're also very accommodating. It has been a big adjustment for my parents, but they seem to like it there. They have adjoining rooms, too. Their activity is probably their weakest at this point, but they have a plan to do better. They don't have a whole lot of activities going right now, but they will soon. They have an exercise bicycle in a room and a nice kitchen area. Everything is brand new. The price is comparable with others.

The Mapleton's staff is fabulous. The landscaping is a little sparse, but it's very well taken care of and looks like it's going to be lovely. My dad's room is comfortable, brand new, clean, and has its own heating and air. They have manicures, lectures, card games, bingo, and movie nights. We've been very pleased. They just need to make sure to wipe the tables down because sometimes they go unwiped between meals. Kimberly, the medical director, is amazing, and has done a great job to get the place up and running. She's very personable and makes you feel very comfortable. She is also very good with all the residents.

My mother is in The Mapleton Assisted Living. I was really impressed on the day that I went to visit. They had all kinds of things that they were gearing up to get taken care of, but in talking to my mom, it sounds like some of that hasn't been put into place yet. It's still a work in progress. It 's really a nice place. She is diabetic and it's hard when they don't fix her a diabetic balanced meal. They have to feed so many people and I understand that. She has a nice spacious room and they have a common area where they can sit and visit or do puzzles and things. They have a beauty salon so the ladies can get their hair done. The gal in charge was very nice and gave me a tour.
