My mother-in-law has been in Sharon Lane Health and Rehabilitation for 3 years. She's in long-term care. It is a small family-owned business. It's not a warehouse for people like some of them are. We saw some when we toured places and they were just warehouses where they just backed up the old people. This one is a very small and caring facility. She has everything she needs here. One of the things that impressed me is that all of the walls in the halls are painted with different murals so one door is a rose garden and another door has a puppy in the window. This helps the residents find their place. She's in a double room and has one lady who she shares it with her. The center of the facility has a garden with a waterfall and this year, a couple of migrating ducks settled in that pond area and all the residents got to watch the ducklings grow up and migrate, which was pretty cool. The activities are great. They have something going on every day. They have religious services, bingo, and movies. They even have Grandparents Day and a lot of other stuff. I think the whole place could accommodate up to 80 residents but it's separated into 3 different sections. You can always find a nurse, they're all over. It's family-run so they treat you like family. They're expensive but for the care, it's worth it.

My mother was transferred to Sharon Lane after her former residence was closed. Sharon Lane staff has given exemplary care for my mother. Being a complete invalid she depends on the staff for everything. I’m always surprised at how clean and fresh is smells. During this pandemic which seemed worse to start In Johnson Co. they kept it at bay for almost a year. Not one nursing care center had done that to my knowledge. They do the little things that others don’t do for the residents. Those little things make a huge difference In these peoples lives. They are truly care angels. God bless them all.

I have a client that had a hip plate and screws put in. If you have a loved one, you DO NOT WANT THEM HERE! I called my client and on sunday I brought beef and noodles. Tuesday when I returned: She was slumped over in her wheel chair. The brakes were not secure. Her face was an inch from being in a bowl of soup she had spit in serveral times. The call button was wound up and on the bed NO where in reach. Cubby hole under the TV was cuttered with papers, clothes, brownie tray (that was delivered a week prior.) and dirty drinking glasses. The bed had NOT been made and my client had been out at doctor appointment most of the afternoon. That same bowl of beef and noodles, I delivered on Sunday and now its Tuesday, was molded and sitting on dresser. Breathing treaments were not given This is on the Rehab hall, I feel sorry for the long term care patients in the building!!

Sharon Lane is an amazing facility. My father in-law moved in two years ago and he loves it. The staff are all so friendly and really care about the residents there. The facility is always clean and the menu is great. They can eat whenever they want and have so many options to chose from. The therapy team is also fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone looking for great care for their loved ones for short term or long term care.

I am a friend or relative of a resident Everything is very good at Sharon Lane, The hospital social worker recommended this facility. My husband needed short term rehabilitative care and the Therapy staff was excellent. Great results! We liked it so much that we wouldn't go any place else if we needed rehab again.. We really liked the nursing staff. They were very attentive and really got to know us.. I liked the environment, very homelike and clean. The food is excellent and they get to eat anytime they want to. They have a lot of activities but I like the special events mainly. I’m very satisfied with the facility.

Everything is satisfactory at Sharon Lane, no disappointment. This was recommended by the hospice care. When we got to take a tour, we liked it so we didn’t even look at others. What I really like about was that when we got there, the director himself came back and he gave us a personal tour even though he was clocked out. I liked the environment, the staff and what they do. The food is excellent and they get to eat anytime they want to. They have a lot of activities but I like the Bible study mainly. They have bingo, they decorate the whole house during Christmas and brought carols in. I’m very satisfied with the facility.
