My mom has moved into Mount Hope Nursing Center. It looks like a clinic from the outside. The building itself is probably 40 years old but clean. The rooms look comfortable. My mother has some friends who are already there. The fact that she has somebody she knew there made it attractive to her. She seems to fit in very well with the place and seems to be happy. The staff I talked to seemed to be very knowledgeable and very nice.

I've read these reviews and they have come a long way. The staff is very friendly and helpful towards my grandmother. They make sure when either my grandmother has a problem with the staff or the way she is cared for they correct their ways and accomadate for each resident to have the best care possible. All of our issues and concerns have been addressed and taken care of in a professional and caring manner. The home in itself is a very welcoming one. They offer a range of variety activities for the residents to do such as fellowship, dining out, cooking and more. I am very pleased with how well they have taken care of my grandmother. My mom is there every week checking in on her and making sure she is enjoying her time there. This is a nice facility with staff that cares.

My husband is at Mt. Hope Nursing Center. I chose this facility because that's what we exactly needed for him and I like the whole set up. It's also very clean and very comfortable. The staff, nurses, and the aides are very competent and on the ball. They're also very much nurturing to their residents.

This is average sized nursing facility in the the rural community of Mt. Hope, Kansas. It is easily found right off of Main St. For long term care, I like that it has a small town feel and uses local aides and nurses. They know who their residents are. The same administrator has been with this nursing facility for many years and has made significant improvements. There are no particularly special features or programs, just good, solid care. Not part of a continuum of care, but there are small independent living apartments on the campus. Safety in the nursing home and in the community is a bonus benefit.

I witnessed several people left in their wheel chairs. One lady I helper back to her room and in bee! The place was not clean and the staff was berry unfriendly! A man got his feet burned while I was observing too I guess the staff did not check the water temp and put this man into the scalding water!!
