My mom has been a resident of the Twin Oaks facilities since 2016. She has been a resident of the Twin Oaks Health and Rehab since 2020. The staff has always been very helpful when I had questions or concerns. We have quarterly meetings to discuss her care and if I want anything changed they are willing to make that change. I can call the Director, the Social worker or even the nurses when I have questions. Mom moved there during COVID and I could not go in the facility to set up her room. The Director of Social Services took on that responsibility. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was set up and that mom was comfortable. They have games, activities, manicures, and hair dressing for the residents. I have not had any issues with this facility and would recommend to others.

My mom had been in Twin Oaks Health & Rehabilitation three or four times over the past four or five years, and she was very happy with the therapists there. Each time, she would work with the same therapists, and they would even go to her home and work with her when she needed the extra exercise and work to make her more comfortable, to help her balance, and strength just to build her. When she was there, they worked with her at least twice a day in the room where they do their therapy. They would work with her on machines to help her give her exercise in the upper part and the lower part of the body. The therapist would also come once a day and walk with her up and down the hall to try to help her balance and everything. They were wonderful. They were very professional. They knew their job. They knew what to do. They were trained. They were certified, and they were just great in any way. My mom said the food was better at her assisted living than it was at the rehab. Because she wasn't able to walk and go down there, it was cold by the time they would get it to her. She never had a hot meal there. They had activities. They had little programs. They had bingo. They had games they would play sometimes, and they took them outside once. It was a beautiful sunny day, and they took them out. They strolled her out in a wheelchair, and they had cupcakes for them. They have lots of activities. They have a lady that take care of their hair. They can make an appointment and pay her to fix their hair, wash it, and everything. They give them a haircut or a trim. Their main gym area would be over in the rehab building.

My mom likes being at the Twin Oaks Health and Rehab. It is very clean, and the people who work there are good people. Other than the fact she doesn't really like the food a lot, she is doing fine there. But I think this is true for most of these homes. She has been in two or three now and she always complains about the food because it is not what she wants. They are giving her good rehab. Well, from being on two liters of oxygen to none, she is improving and doing well. The staff is very friendly, kind of happy-go-lucky people, and overall I would say that they are really good. They take care of the people, and there is enough staff, so they are well taken care of and they do things really well. I trust them, and I think they are doing a pretty good job of looking after the people there. I am satisfied at this point.
