My wife is in Medicalodges Eudora. It's a small town family. Everybody is quite nice. They have in-house rehabilitation and a beauty shop. The staff is very friendly, cordial, and welcoming. The dining area is clean and nice. She's in a standard room with a hospital bed in it, two closets, built-in drawers, and a separate bathroom with a sink and a stool.

My father has been at Medicalodges Eudora for a month now. There's not a whole lot of options around here, and they were the only place that had an opening. They do physical therapy and speech therapy for my father. His room is junkie, dirty, and terrible. When he got moved in, his floor was never mopped and still has never been mopped. I scrubbed the bathroom floor and tried to clean the bathroom as much as I could. I don't know if every facility's supposed to smell like urine, because it kind of does. I just cried when I went in there the first time and I didn't want to leave my dad there, but there's not a whole lot of options. The only good thing about that place is the staff. They are nice and helpful, and they seem to care about my dad. The food there is not bad. He seems to eat everything on his plate, and they chop it up for him so he can chew it. I've tasted the potatoes and I've tasted the meat. They grind up the chicken for him and they put a little gravy on it. They're usually a balanced meal. They have activities and they try to engage him. They don't just leave him in his room, they'll move him down to the nurses station and let him sit there so they can keep an eye on him.
