We haven't gotten my mom in at Homestead of El Dorado yet, but we know the people there and it's close for us. They would also take her insurance. They have a memory care unit, so that's where we are headed. Even if my mom is in a full care position, we could still put her into memory care and still get the care she needs. We're happy with it. They don't have an opening right now, but we are on the top of the list. I really like it from what we've seen and when my aunt stayed there years ago. I really liked it because they had a lot of activities, the rooms were spacious, they all had their little kitchens, and she had the room by herself. I was very happy with them. They had a library and a church there. We had seen a lot of it when my aunt was there. We had seen Girls Scouts and Boys Scouts playing games with the residents. They had patios outside. It's a smaller place, so it was much homier.
