My mother is in Cheney Golden Age Home. You can't go to the dining room with them, probably due to aftereffects of COVID, and I'm not happy with that. You can talk to them in the lobby, but you can't go to the dining room with other people. I'm not real pleased with the lack of therapy that they give. It's very clean, and the rooms are decent. There are some caring nurses. She went for further rehab, but it hasn't gone well. Her room is nice and large because it's for two people and we got it as a private room for her. They have bingo a couple of times a week. They have a thing called Sky Ball, they do fluff and fold where they fold washcloths, and a few other things. The atmosphere is boring though. They don't do much. It's just like an old nursing home where people sit out front, which she doesn't (she sits in her room). They either stare at the TV or something else. There are a lot of them that don't know what's going on.
