My mother has moved into Parker Place. It is great. The staff members are tremendous. I have no complaints with them at all. I can email them, I can text them, and I can call them anytime and ask any questions. My mom's room is very spacious. They provided most of the furniture; they provided the bed and the dresser. Because of COVID, I was only allowed in my mother's room once, the day we moved in. It was very clean. The staff member helped me put all of her things away. They helped me unload my car into her room. From what I have seen, I have no complaints. They went above and beyond for the family to help with the transition.

We did tour the assisted living and the memory care of Parker Place. The overall experience was good. They were very informative, and they answered all our questions. They gave us a good tour. The staff members were very nice and very pleasant. We had the nurse do an assessment on my mom. She was nice, but she didn't have a lot of good things to say about Parker Place. They need to improve on keeping their employees happy. It seemed like the employees were kind of down on the place. They didn't have a lot of staff. They were short-staffed, and I know that's just because of the time we're in right now. Otherwise, the girl that walked us through and everything was very nice and pleasant. The facility itself needed updating, which she said they were working on. Other than that, it was OK. I didn't care for the memory unit. It needed some care. It was a good location, little far for us, but not bad. I would rate the walkthrough staff a five, but overall they would get a three because the nurse that came to visit just didn't have a whole lot of nice things to say about Parker Place, and that pretty much turned us off from the place. It seemed like they needed to work on making their employees happy and do the necessary things to treat the patients properly.

My mother is in Parker Place. I'm very happy with the staff and how they care for her. She's in memory care assisted living. She has a one-bedroom apartment, which she absolutely loves because she didn't have a separate bedroom before. She has a full refrigerator in her kitchen, and they have snacks available most of the time. They can pick food that's not on the main menu for the day. They have a garden area where she's been allowed to do gardening, and that she loves. They have good activities. The staff makes sure her medications are there, and when she pushes her button, they're right there. They let her talk and help her with different things. They're very kind to her. The meal I had with her was fine. The facility is excellent, and it's a very good value.

My dad was a resident of the memory care unit of Parker Place. I don't think they have enough staff for the level of care he needed. My mom would have to shave him or do some of his personal care because we've observed that they didn't seem to have enough staff. The dining area was fine, and I would see them do one activity a day maybe. My first impression was that it looks like a very good community. The staff was fine.

Parker Place's rooms were a little better-sized and nice. They had a TV area and a center grassy area where it's quiet, and the whole building surrounded it. The dining area was good, and they had really good and exceptional homemade treats. The staff seemed pleasant.
