We will be moving into Windsor Park. It used to be a hospital years ago. We liked it and it was in our budget. Both of our bedrooms are the same size. It has 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a front room. It's very open and handicap accessible. One of the bathrooms has a walk-in shower. It is a very clean place. And their manager, she's very accommodating. They're holding the apartment for us. Our lease doesn't start until December 1st, but they're letting us move in before Thanksgiving. They have a small library, and they have a gathering room where people can go and just put puzzles together, play cards, watch a movie together, and get to know people. It's kind of a relaxing atmosphere. They have the laundry that's not too far away. All of the utilities are included in the rent. We just have to pay for cable if we want it, internet, and our house phone. They just serve lunch. They don't serve breakfast or supper. The first month for lunch is free. And then after that, you pay for it. But you don't have to eat lunch if you don't want to, you can fix your own. They have garage parking and they have an elevator that's in there that you can get to very easily. The manager was very accommodating, very friendly, and very understanding, and she explained things so well.

The rooms and dining rooms at Windsor Park Retirement Apartments were good. 24-hour help was not available, so I'd have to get my own help. The place was for totally independent elderly people.
