We moved to Mill Pond Health Campus and part of the reason was my husband's aunt had been over here and she was pleased with it, and we liked the facility. My husband is in memory care. His apartment is a room and a bathroom. I don't know if he's got a little kitchenette there or not, but they prepare his meals and everything for him. I stay here too. I'm in a different area. I guess it's kind of a little efficiency apartment. I guess that's what you call it. There's one big room with a TV and there are three drawers under it. We bought a drop leaf table from home. We brought our bed, nightstands, quilt rack, and chair with us in my apartment. The food is good. The staff was very helpful and very accommodating. Everybody seems very pleasant. The facility is nice and clean. There are things going on and they give an activity sheet every day of what's happening around. I do a lot of puzzles while I'm in my room. I play games on my ipad. I've got my little dog here, too.

I was a resident at Mill Pond Health Campus after my back surgery. The staff were fabulous and treated me very well. The therapy department did an excellent job getting me back to normal so I could get back home. The food was delicious. The nurses and aides treated me like their own and I was pleased. If I ever had to go back or needed to be there long term, Mill Pond is the place I would go!

My Uncle is currently a resident on the Assisted Living at Mill Pond. I can’t express enough how great the care is that he receives or how much joy it has brought him with the interaction that he gets from staff and fellow residents. Before he lived at home and was very lonely. Now he is out of his room, socializing with others and participating in daily activities that they offer. He raves about the food and how good it is! He loves the fact that meals are prepared for him and he doesn’t have to worry about it. The nursing staff is excellent and they give him amazing care and we know he is in good hands! The facility is extremely clean and always smells nice. Any time I enter, I am greeted with friendly faces and everyone makes me feel welcome! I am extremely grateful for Mill Pond and for their staff! My grandmother has been a resident on the Health Center on two different occasions and also received excellent care! The therapy team is amazing and got her back on her feet and back home in no time! I could go on and on! If you or a loved one is looking for long term care, short term care or rehab, there is no other place I would go! I HIGHLY recommend!!

I visited this facility last week and was toured by a younger girl with shorter curly hair. Her office was right inside the main entrance. She never told me her name. It was around lunch time and as we quickly walked through the dining room the food looked awful. Over half of the people still had full plates of food and pushed them away. We were looking for placement for my mom that has dementia, but is forgetting meals and to take her medication. It was suggested by her doctor that she go to an assisted living. As soon as dementia was mentioned we were immediately told she had to be in a locked area where she would be stuck sitting and doing nothing (by the looks of the others back there.) None of them were clean and it smelled awful. My mom just needs her meds given to her and wants to be social. She wants to go into an assisted living, but does not need locked up. When I tried to explain this I was told that if she wants to live here she would have to be there or go elsewhere. The girl had not seen or met my mom and had no clue what she "needs". I told her over and over we did not want a locked until and the response we were given was "I don't know what to tell you"

Mill Pond was very clean and is on our list. The price was decent, the amenities were good, and the tour was well done. The dining room was very nice. You provide your own furniture for the rooms, and the closet wasn't huge.

Mill Pond was wonderful and very clean. The caregivers and nurses were wonderful. The rooms were a nice size, very well kept, and had individual showers and bathrooms. It was set up nicely, and they had a day room where they could watch TV and do activities. I was impressed with the service.

Mill Pond Health Campus didn't work with me and didn't get back with me. They just weren't really helpful. I didn't like their business sense. The girl there wasn't a very good marketing person. What was nice was it had plenty of parking, and it has easy access in and out. They just didn't do a very good marketing job. They do laundry, and they have people come in to entertain once in a while. The area where my mom would have been in would be really small, and the room wasn't too exciting. To be the newest facility in Greencastle, I wasn't impressed with the rooms that much. They need to improve on their marketing. That girl didn't try to sell the place at all. She just took notes down and said "We're here when you want us." I just didn't care for her marketing tactics.

my mother was a resident at this facility and received good nursing care. but the office was lacking . my mother had mary as her name on her chart and other paper work i asked repeatedly to have that fixed. when she was in the er the hospital called not only were they given my mothers wrong name they referred to me by mrs. brooks . that confusion was very upsetting and could have been a potential desastor .i could not call the facality to check on my mom as i lived in the van bibber area. my landline works fine for every thing else. i reported that to there office in February . i twas told they did not have all the kinks out of the phone as it was a new system . this is july . i tried again on my land line. even though landlines work fine for everything else sometime cell connection is bad but i got through on my cell. and i told the office worker there was a problem with the phone still.she said well then how did you call me ? i would have thought they would be interested to know there is a kink in there system or at least tried to see if there was a problem.. i received a refund check it took five month to get it to me . i took it back because my name is not mrs. brooks and it was written out as such . again the office worker was curt and said i dont know why it was made out like this it will be another month for them to get it right. i have relative that need rehab but would not recommend mill pond because if they can not get your name right how can they give you proper care ? i would give 5 stars for nursing care and 1 for adminastration
