Waterford Crossing was very nice. The only thing I did not like about it is its location, so I didn't think my in-laws should go there. It is an industrial park, and it is very confusing on how to get in and out of there; there were a lot of driveways and buildings. It was in a beautiful setting, but just getting there was very difficult to find the right way in. Everything else was very nice. The rooms were nice, and they seemed to have a lot of activities. We didn't see dinner, but we read and sampled a menu, and we thought it was very good. They have laundry and a beautician and all that, but it was very confusing to get to the right place. I guess they should make it easier to get in and out with better markings or something. There were just so many houses and so many buildings that it was hard to find the right one.

Waterford Crossing is a very well-rounded assisted living center. I really like the way in which it helps keep friends and family connected to its residents. I especially enjoy the Happy Hour they have every Friday (friends and family as well as residents can attend)! Most of the staff is friendly and helpful, though we have had a few "gruff" interactions over the years - but not many. There are a lot of different activities for residents, from social activities like playing cards, to exercise groups, to worship services, and more. The residents also seem to enjoy the nearby elementary school, which often has the kids come in and do performances for the residents. The rooms are big and spacious, though it depends upon the number of rooms you choose. The building itself is relatively new and well lit, and some of the rooms have a great view of the pond out back. They also have a "driver" who can take residents to appointments, church, or other places in town. About the biggest problem we've ever had with Waterford Crossing is with the carpeting. It was too thick and it caused my friend to tire more quickly when walking around in the hallways. She even tripped and fell once because of it. Overall it's a great place for the money.
