I had a friend at Tanglewood Trace. I was very familiar with it. They were very helpful. I thought the staff was very good. They had a lovely dining room. I've eaten there with them, and I've talked with the activity director. I actually talked with some of the residents as I went and visited my friend. It's close to home, so it's very good. They had physical therapy, games, and music.

I went to Tanglewood Trace. The size of the community was favorable. The different levels of care were impressive, even at the hospice level. The staff during the tour was knowledgeable. She was very forthcoming with information about the facility and additional resources that we could access to help with cost and care. Some repairs were needed, but they seemed to be in progress, so the condition of the building was good. It didn't smell like urine, which is a big plus. There was plenty of room. It's spacious, but for members of the community who have mobility challenges, that spaciousness could also be a challenge for them.

Tanglewood Trace was one level all around. It's very nice. It had patios, grills, and all those kinds of things. Shawna toured us around and she was very nice, too. She was even going to give my sister a discount for two months. The food looked very good when we were going by it. They have two dining rooms. They have three meals a day and they have a breakfast bar that's always open with cereals, juices, and water that the residents on either side can get. They also have a beauty shop, card games, board games, libraries, and all kinds of stuff like that.

I visited Tanglewood Trace. They had a lot of opportunities for their residents. They had an individual patio, so they could walk outside. It was a nice place. I went to look at the independent living. They also have assisted living in a different wing. They have a walking club. They have activities, and they do bingo. They have something going on every day. There are a lot of things you can choose from to do. The rooms have a stove and refrigerator. The staff that gave the tour was very friendly and informative. She took me around and showed me everything. I saw the apartments. There were some activities that the residents could participate in. There's also an atrium area.

Tanglewood Trace was very nice and clean. I would highly recommend it. They had activities going on. They have entertainment, which she would have enjoyed, and the day we were there, they had a happy hour and my mom was tickled. They were also willing to put my mom close to the dining area, and that was a plus.

My father is currently a resident of Tanglewood Trace. So far, it's been great here. I've noticed that the front-desk staff know most of the patients by their first names. They call most of the people who are living here by their first names. I have heard that the food is really good here. He's even been really happy with the nursing staff who come in and give him his meds. So, all around it's a good place. They already have his pictures up, and it looks like home. They have chairs and couches in the hallways where you can sit. If you feel like you need to get out of your apartment, you can go and sit out in the lobby. They do all kinds of fun activities. It's quite a nice place. They'll take a trip; they take a bus and go into town. They do bingo, crossword puzzles, and playing cards. They do card making, and they have a walking club. They'll have ice-cream sundaes, take a trip to Martin's, or take a trip to the Dollar Tree.
