My mom moved into Arbor Glen. It's a nice little place. They've got new owners again. The only real issue with this place that I know of is the fact that they only have one elevator, and most of the people over there are using walkers and mobile chairs, so it's very inconvenient for anyone living on the second and third floors to get down to the cafeteria area or to get around at all. They have a lot of activities, like bingo, other games, and activity tables. They have people come in and do music. Their cafeterias serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The facility is kept up. They have nurses in-house. The staff members seem to be helpful. They've got card tables, pool tables, and a community area where they have TVs and you can watch programs.

DONT BE FOOLED. Arbor glen is currently under a new owner, who really has increased the prices, starting Janu 2024 from: for example studio apt of 1500 to 2900. IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?????? This is NOT A 10% rent increase. They recently switched from Independent to independent and assisted. MOST OF SENIORS HERE ARE INDEPENDENT. Is it really worth the money???? THEIR CURRENT PRICING IS OUTRAGEOUS. Especially for people who have been here a long while and are not expecting this 50% hike in price. IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I WOULD NOT COME HERE AGAIN AT ALL.

We liked Arbor Glen. It's great across the board. It was excellent. The people that we talked to were very friendly. They seemed to meet all of the needs my brother would have had. The lady that took us on the tour answered all our questions. She was very helpful in letting us know what was available. We're very well pleased. There seemed to be quite a bit that he could've been able to do if he had stayed there. It's easy to access to everything. The cleanliness was perfect.

Overall, Arbor Glen looked good, and it was my second choice. You're still inside a large corporate building that houses everything, so you might have an independent apartment, but when you go outside it feels like you're in a nursing home. The staff seemed really good, too. They offer one meal, and your car is outside; they don't offer any covered parking. The apartments are very small.

My grandmother is in Arbor Glen and she has her own apartment there. Her room is very comfortable. The care is very good. She enjoys the meals and the activities. She is very happy there.

The people at Arbor Glen seem a little more friendly. We met some real nice staff. The dining room is laid out very nice, and we liked it. Although maybe they could have a system to remind people it's meal time. But it's very nice. I would have lived there myself.
